    Abstract: A display device including a substrate including a display area and an opening area therein, a data conductive layer on the substrate and including a source electrode and a voltage wiring in the opening area, a protective layer on the data conductive layer and covering the source electrode and the voltage wiring, a pixel electrode layer including a pixel electrode connected to the source electrode through a first contact hole, and an electrode pattern connected to the voltage wiring through a second contact hole, a pixel defining layer including an opening exposing the pixel electrode and a hole exposing the electrode pattern, a light emitting layer on the pixel defining layer and a common electrode on the light emitting layer, wherein the hole does not overlap the first and second contact holes.

    Abstract: A display device may include a substrate including a display area and a non-display area, pixels provided in the display area and each pixel including a pixel transistor and a light emitting element connected to the pixel transistor, a first driver provided in the non-display area and configured to provide a scan signal to the pixel, a scan line configured to transfer the scan signal to the pixel, a first fan-out line provided in the non-display area and connected to the scan line, and a first electrostatic discharge portion provided in the non-display area and located between the first fan-out line and the scan line. The first electrostatic discharge portion may include a bottom metal layer disposed on the substrate and a transistor disposed on and electrically connected to the bottom metal layer.

    Abstract: A display device includes a data line to which a data voltage is applied, a first driving voltage line to which a first driving voltage is applied, a second driving voltage line to which a second driving voltage is applied, and a pixel connected to the first and second driving voltage lines. The pixel includes a first transistor to control a driving current according to a voltage applied to a first node, a light emitting element between the first transistor and the first driving voltage line, and a capacitor between the first node and the second driving voltage line. The first driving voltage has a first high-level voltage during a first initialization period, the first driving voltage has a first mid-level voltage lower than the first high level voltage during a threshold-voltage-storage period, and the first driving voltage has a first low-level voltage during a second initialization period.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting display device which secures a sufficient compensation time during which a threshold voltage of a driving transistor is compensated by driving a display panel using a simultaneous emission driving method by which a plurality of pixels simultaneously emit light. The organic light emitting display device may reduce a length (or, a time) of a non-emission period by storing a data signal of a current frame into a second capacitor of the pixel in an emission period of a previous frame and by adjusting a voltage at a gate electrode of a driving transistor of the pixel based on a voltage stored in the second capacitor in a data writing period of the current frame.
