Abstract: Disclosed are an electronic device and an operation method of the electronic device, and the electronic device may include a communication circuit configured to transmit or receive data using a call channel established via a call connection with an external electronic device, and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to receive at least some packets of a first plurality of packets of a first frame via the call channel, to identify whether a lost packet is present in the first plurality of packets of the first frame, and to determine, based on the result of the identification, whether to perform frame rate conversion (FRC) based on the first frame and a second frame corresponding to a second plurality of packets received after the reception of the at least some packets. In addition, various other embodiments are possible.
