摘要： A blood pressure cuff is equipped with an electronic component providing encoding of cuff properties. The connectors and hose connecting the cuff to a blood pressure measurement instrument are provided with conductors and electrical coupling, allowing the measuring instrument to access the electronic component encoding cuff properties. The arrangement of the cuff, hose, and connectors makes simultaneous pneumatic and electrical connection when the cuff is attached to the hose.
