The plasma display apparatus comprises: a plasma display panel comprising scan electrodes and sustain electrodes, a scan driver for supplying a first pulse to the scan electrodes before a reset period of a first subfield, a first reset pulse gradually falling after maintaining a constant voltage to the scan electrodes during the reset period, and a second reset pulse having a voltage higher than the constant voltage of the first reset pulse to the scan electrodes during a reset period of a second subfield and a sustain driver for supplying a second pulse with a polarity opposite a polarity of the first pulse to the sustain electrodes corresponding to the first pulse before the reset period.

    摘要: This document invention relates to a display device and driving method thereof, more particularly, to a plasma display apparatus for driving electrodes and driving method thereof. A plasma display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a plasma display panel comprising an electrode a sustain voltage source for supplying a sustain voltage to the electrode, a source capacitor for recovering energy stored in the plasma display panel and for resupplying the recovered energy to the plasma display panel and a voltage stabilizer connected between the sustain voltage source and the source capacitor, for maintaining a voltage supplied to the source capacitor at a reference voltage level. A driving method of a plasma display apparatus according to another embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of supplying a reference voltage to the source capacitor for initial driving stabilizing a voltage level supplied to the source capacitor for uniformly maintaining the supplied voltage with the reference voltage and resupplying the voltage supplied to the source capacitor to the plasma display panel.
