LEDs (1) are two-dimensionally formed on an insulating substrate (10) of e.g., sapphire monolithically and connected in series to form an LED array. Two such LED arrays are connected to electrodes (32) in inverse parallel. Air-bridge wiring (28) is formed between the LEDs (1) and between the LEDs (1) and electrodes (32). The LED arrays are arranged zigzag to form a plurality of LEDs (1) to produce a high drive voltage and a small drive current. Two LED arrays are connected in inverse parallel, and therefore an AC power supply can be used as the power supply.

    摘要: A vehicle can have an electronic configuration or a mechanical configuration. In the electronic configuration, a button is operated to start the engine of the vehicle. In the mechanical configuration, a key is inserted in a key cylinder to start the engine of the vehicle. A button signal is output when the button is operated. A key signal is output when the key is inserted in the key cylinder. The configuration of vehicle can be automatically detected based on whether the button signal is output or the key signal is output. An appropriate starting control for the engine is selected based on the configuration of the vehicle.

    摘要: An information source management system 11 performs inventory management for CDs and a material information management progress programming system 12 performs programming. An material information registration system 13 compresses the musical numbers of the CDs for holding on a proprietary server and a proprietary server 121 of a multi-channel sending-out system 101. A large number of materials are held on the proprietary server 121 and read out from it. The read-out materials are converted in its format to a transmission format by a sending-out server 123 so as to be multiplexed by a multiplexer 141. The multiplexed data is QPSK-modulated by a modulator 142 and sent out via a selector 143. From the proprietary server 121 are read out data which is sent out via dedicated network 3 to a live PC where it is reproduced. This data is furnished again via dedicated network 3 and encoded by an MPEG encoder 129 so as to be sent out at the sending-out server 123.

    摘要: An object of this invention is to improve convenience to a user when starting up an engine remotely, without detracting from safety with respect to vehicle theft. A remote startup device has an engine startup control unit, which starts the engine in response to a startup instruction signal, and an engine running control unit, which decides, after the engine has been started up, whether to continue or to stop running of the engine based on prescribed conditions. The engine running control unit continues running of the engine when detecting a key at the time of unlocking of a door of the vehicle and at the time of ignition action, and stops running of the engine when not detecting a key either at the time of the door unlocking or at the time of the ignition action, to thereby secure safety with respect to theft.
