摘要： Storage batteries having a rechargeable battery for operating electric tools often have a state of charge indicator. A state of charge circuit, which has a sensor that is coupled to the evaluation unit, is provided in order to identify the operating state of the storage battery. An interlock switch for preventing indication of the state of the charge is coupled to the evaluation unit. If charging or discharging of the rechargeable battery is identified using the sensor, the interlock switch is used to prevent indication of the current state of charge.

The setting of at least one of the two operating modes occurs automatically. The present invention furthermore relates to an electric power tool, which particularly can be operated with the one method according to the invention, having a drive motor, a drive unit as well as a tool, said tool being operable in at least two operating modes by means of the drive unit and the drive motor. The operating modes vary due to the properties of the drive motor and/or the drive unit. Said power tool comprises a detection means, with which the necessity for switching the operating mode can be ascertained and is characterized by further comprising a control means, with which one of the two operating modes can be automatically adjusted.

摘要： A method and apparatus are described, which permit a simple, rapid manufacture of an end of an optical fiber bundle. According to the method a metallic sleeve is placed on an end section of the bundle, the end section with the sleeve on it is positioned in a shaping tool without pressing the sleeve and then pressure is exerted on the sleeve exclusively in a radial direction by press jaws of the shaping tool. In the optical fiber bundle made by the method the outer optical fibers (4′) of the optical fiber bundle (1) are embedded at least partially in the sleeve material. The apparatus for making the end of the bundle (1) with the sleeve (10) has a shaping tool (20) including at least two radially movable press jaws (22a-22f) that substantially surround the sleeve (10).

摘要： A method and means for releasably connecting the body of an electrical component such as a switch assembly to a support housing that surrounds at least a portion of the body of the switch assembly, for example the tubular body of a key operated lock adapted to operate a switch when a key is turned in the lock. A specially configured spring clip has resilient legs that extend through slots formed in opposite sides of the support housing and into engagement with formations provided on opposite sides of the body of the electrical component not only to maintain a connection between the body and the support housing but also to bias the electrical component into engagement with at least one stop formation defined by the support housing to ensure that the electrical component is properly positioned relative to the support housing.
