    Abstract: A connector assembly for a mobile device is provided that includes a back plate adapted to be operably coupled with a mobile device, a connector region operably couple with the back plate, and at least one alignment member operably coupled with the back plate and positioned adjacent to the connector region. The connector region is configurable in at least a first arrangement and a second arrangement. The at least one alignment member aligns with the connector region and frictionally receive an accessory device. In the first arrangement, the connector region includes at least one electrical connector, and in the second arrangement, the connector region includes no electrical connectors.

    Abstract: An accessory for a mobile computing device having a camera with a field of view (FOV), includes: an adapter including: an inner wall having a first opening; a retention mechanism configured to releasably retain the mobile computing device against the inner wall with the camera positioned over the first opening; an outer wall joined to the inner wall by a set of side walls, the outer wall having a second opening with a second perimeter larger than a first perimeter of the first opening; a set of channel walls extending between the first perimeter of the first opening and the second perimeter of the second opening, the set of channel walls defining an open channel permitting the camera FOV to traverse the adapter substantially unobstructed; and a handle mount disposed on the outer wall.

    Abstract: An ambidextrous hand mount for an electronic device comprises: a proximal fastener configured to engage with a wrist of an operator; a distal fastener configured to engage with a finger of the operator; a body connecting the proximal fastener and the distal fastener and configured to extend along a back of a hand of the operator from the wrist to the finger; wherein the body includes: a main segment configured to support the electronic device; and a flexible segment between the main segment and the proximal fastener, the flexible segment configured to deform to accommodate changes in an angle between the body and the proximal fastener.
