摘要： A garment hanger includes a body having a hook member that extends outwardly from a cross bar that has a first end and an opposite second end. The cross bar has a first end portion that terminates at the first end, a second end portion that terminates at the second end, and a central portion disposed between the first end portion and the second end portion. The hook member is coupled to the central portion, wherein a cross-section of each of the first and second end portions has a first shape and a cross-section of the central portion has a second shape that is different than the first shape. In one embodiment, the first shape is an I-shape and the second shape is a Z-shape.

摘要： In accordance with one embodiment, a garment hanger for use with a top sizer clip includes a body having a cross bar and a hook member extending outwardly therefrom. The hook member includes a web portion having an inner edge and an opposing outer edge, wherein the hook member terminates in a curved distal end and includes a neck portion that connects the hook member to the cross bar. The neck portion is defined by a portion of the outer edge that faces one end of the cross bar and a portion of the inner edge that faces an opposite end of the cross bar. The outer edge in the neck portion has a concave shape, while the inner edge in the neck portion has a convex shape.

摘要： A top sizer clip according to one embodiment for use with a garment hanger includes a body having a pair of side walls and end walls joined to and extending between the side walls. The body includes a top wall that is joined to upper edges of the side walls and end walls. The top wall partially encloses the body so as to create a hollow body structure that includes an interior compartment defined by the end walls, side walls, and top wall. The top wall includes an opening formed therethrough for receiving a hook member of the hanger. The opening is defined by a pair of opposing first edges and a pair of opposing second side edges that extend between the first edges. The clip also includes a pair of slots being formed along the first edges and extending toward the end walls. The second edges include a pair of interference sections (detents) where a distance between the second edges is at a minimum.

摘要： A top sizer for use with a garment hanger including a hollow body having an open bottom and a top wall that has a first opening formed therein that provides communication to the hollow interior. The top sizer includes a locking feature associated therewith that is configured to permit the top sizer to be releasably engaged and secured to the hook member. The locking feature is formed above the first opening, wherein the locking feature has a slot that defines a pair of opposing resilient locking tabs. The slot is defined by an open end portion (entrance) and an inner portion that has a width greater than the open end portion, with free ends of the locking tabs and the open end of the slot being in communication with the first opening to permit a hook member of the garment hanger that is in the first opening to be received into the open end of the slot and then into the inner portion once a biasing force of the locking tabs is overcome resulting in the hook member being captured in the inner portion and the top sizer being locked relative to the garment hanger.

摘要： This invention is directed generally to garment hangers of the type on which information clips may be locked, and, in particular, to garment hangers adapted to receive such a locking information clip so that its removal is prevented or strongly inhibited, and to the locking information clips themselves.According to aspects of the present invention the information clip not only resiliently engages a ledge adjacent the edge of the clip holder, but in addition is provided to discourage or prevent moving the clip side walls apart to disengage the clip from the ledge. In certain forms of the invention, further assurance of non-removability is provided by engaging edges of the clip with engagement elements on the clip holder, without interfering with use of conventional molding for producing the hanger. In other forms of the invention, other arrangements are provided to retain the clip on the hanger by strongly inhibiting lifting one or both side walls of the clip by use of fingers or finger nails.
