摘要： Binding apparatus for use with an item of sports equipment such as a skate board, the binding apparatus including a first part adapted for attachment to an article of footwear and a second part adapted for attachment to the item of sports equipment. One of the first and second parts includes a protuberance and the other of the first and second parts includes a recess adapted to receive the protuberance therein. The first and second parts also have complementary securing parts for releasably securing the protuberance in the recess. The securing parts are adapted to secure the protuberance in the recess upon the protuberance reaching therein a predetermined engagement. The release of the first part from the second part is allowed exclusively upon application of an upwardly directed breakaway force.

摘要： A covering sole for footwear comprises a comparatively wear-resistant disc-shaped body (1) which has at least substantially the same shape as a walking surface of footwear to be covered thereby. Before the covering sole is provided, it should first be adapted to the size of the walking surface. The body for this purpose comprises a number of separate zones (31, 32, 33) which are mutually separated by lanes (2) which run parallel to the circumference and along which the body has been intentionally weakened so as to render possible a manual separation of at least one zone (31, 32) lying farther to the outside from a zone (32, 33) lying inside the former zone.

摘要： The outsole assembly of a shoe having an upper defining a volume for enclosing a wearer's foot, with the outsole assembly attached generally therebelow, includes an outsole consisting of an outsole body of transparent material defining a water impervious outsole bottom surface disposed for engagement with a walking surface when worn, an outsole upper surface disposed generally in opposition to the volume, and an outsole side surface extending peripherally about the outsole generally between the outsole bottom and upper surfaces. A grid member defines at least one aperture at the outsole upper surface. An article disposed within the aperture is observable through the water impervious outsole bottom surface of the body of transparent material. A method for shoe assembly is also described.

摘要： A cross bar is provided with a pair of plug cutting tubes one at each end thereof and being edge sharpened at the lower edge. Plug release cut away portions are formed in the tubes spaced above the lower ends. The cross bar is secured to the underside of the shoes or boots against the heel step with each tube being situated slightly outboard of the sides of the soles. Walking on lawns or the like causes the plug tubes to cut cylindrical plugs from the lawn which are expelled upwardly and outwardly through the plug release cut away portions.

摘要： An improved sole for a shoe made from a single piece, purposely sized to receive thereon the entire foot of the user, and of the type whose inner shank is anatomically raised at the ball portion to act as a support for the arch of the foot, includes a heel supporting zone in a lower plane than the ball supporting zone which, on the other hand, is slightly raised at its center in a rounded fashion. The sole includes means to prevent the foot from twisting outwards, when resting, and means whereby the weight of the user rests on the big toe, at the end of each stride, which means are respectively comprised of a longitudinal recess in the upper surface of the shank situated between the raised support of the arch and the outer opposite edge, and of a decrease in the thickness of the fore portion of the sole which starts approximately midway of the ball and progresses towards the toe portion, forming a curved surface, whose front view defines an oblique front, when such decrease reaches its maximum value coinciding with the supporting zone for the big toe.
