The cap is positioned on the head and multiple strands of hair are pulled between the strut members so that the hair is positioned on an upper surface of each of the plurality of wing members. A coloring agent is applied to the upper surface of each of the plurality of wing members, such that the coloring agent functionally coats each of the multiple strands of hair to be colored. Each of the plurality of wing members is then folded, thereby trapping the hair and the coloring agent.

The hood includes a first end with a protective collar that is sealed by an elastic band around the hairline of the person receiving hair treatment. A flexible bag is attached to the protective collar and contains the person's hair therein. The second end of the bag includes an opening through which the hair treatment specialist can treat the hair with fluids, the bottom of the bag preventing contact of the fluids with the person's neck, shoulders, or back. The opening at the second end permits easy access to the hair during treatment. The second opening of the bag can be closed with a drawstring to permit the treatment fluids to remain in contact with the person's hair.

摘要： The present invention discloses a device for selectively treating strands of hair with a treating solution. The device is formed of a fluid impervious flexible sheet material in the shape of a cap to conform to the head of a person in a generally overlying relationship to the hair thereof and having an inner surface and an outer surface. A plurality of air cells are disposed in spaced relationship about the outer surface of the sheet material forming the cap. The air cells are formed of a generally dome-shaped flexible wall member and have a base wall integral with the sheet material. The air cells are puncturable to form perforations permitting strands of hair to be pulled therethrough for treatment with the treating solution. The punctured air cell walls form a pocket seal around the strands of hair thereby preventing the penetration of the treating solution to the scalp and hair not to be treated below the sheet material.

摘要： A hair frosting or tipping cap for accurately selecting a uniform distribution of particular locks of hair to be color treated (dye, bleach or tint) or any other treatment where a particular density of hair is desirable while shielding the remaining hair in order to achieve a desired intensity of hair to be treated. The device allows a person skilled or unskilled in the use of a frosting or tipping cap to achieve selective variable intensity of hair to be treated. The cap includes a plurality of hair receiving, puncturable areas forming apertures uniformly spaced about the cap surface and two or more indicia means such as color coding which are affixed in proximal relationship to particular apertures in preconceived patterns whereby the indicia means provide readily visible information to direct the user to select particular apertures through which locks of hairs are pulled out to achieve a particular desired level of intensity of color. Utilizing the color code indicia, for example, one particular color indicium could indicate light color for bleaching and only particular (predetermined) apertures having that color code would be utilized. The resilient cap body protects the unexposed hairs underneath the cap body from the bleach as does those apertures not in use. Greater frosting intensities can be achieved by selecting a different color code which is disposed next to a greater number of apertures or for lesser intensity by selecting a color code which is in proximal relationship to a lesser number of apertures, the color code scheme being uniformly applied to obtain a uniform aperture distribution.
