The first side sheet 23A and/or the second side sheet 23B has a Taber stiffness of 0.4 mN·m or more. The tube 2 is provided, in or on its portion forming the opening 21, with a stress relaxing means that relaxes the stress applied to a hair strand having been inserted through the opening 21.

摘要： A hair rod for permanently waving hair has a hollow body rod and a cap, secured to the body by an elastic band. A first and second end plates are positioned on respective ends of the body. A plurality of outwardly extending projections formed on an outer surface of the body between the first and the second end plates facilitate retaining of hair on the rod during the rolling process. The body has an elongated opening for receiving and retaining perm paper on the rod and a plurality of through openings to facilitate rinsing of liquid solutions from the hair. The hollow cap has large openings and a plurality of outwardly extending longitudinal and cross ribs that facilitate retaining of liquid solutions on the hair. The cap has a lengthwise slit, and is sufficiently resilient to permit the lengthwise slit to be selectively widened to snap over the body to thereby closely encircle the body and help retain rolled hair on the rod body.

摘要： A hair cosmetic treatment apparatus has a curler with a body for curling the hair and a jacket which can be mounted thereon, embraces the curl and leaves a gap between it and the body. The jacket comprises semicylindrical shells provided on their longitudinal edges with seals and which can be brought into a closed position by means of clamping devices which can be mounted on both end faces. The jacket has radial hose nipples, which are connected by means of transverse ducts in the body to the gap. To the hose nipples can be connected hoselines, by means of which liquid treatment medium can be supplied to the curler and passed through the same. For hermetic sealing purposes, the longitudinal edges of the half-shells are provided with seals, which are additionally coated with a hydrophobic sealing compound. The successively or parallel-connected curlers are connected to a supply and control apparatus with processor, which contains the treatment medium in storage containers and supplies same by means of pumps to the hoselines and curlers.

摘要： A permanent wave roller for use in providing a permanent wave to hair which includes a rod having a predetermined length and an outer surface upon which an individual's hair is to be rolled to form a curl. An elongated pressure element extends along the rod for applying pressure toward the outer surface of the rod for maintaining hair in a curl upon the rod. A pad is positioned on the outer surface of the rod. The pad extends substantially along the length of the rod and includes a waffle-like shape for enhancing the passage of a permanent solution to a curl and to prevent damage to an individual's hair. The pressure element may be an elastic cord having a first end removably affixed to one end of said rod and a second end removably affixed to a second end of said rod. The rod includes a central portion having a smaller diameter in relation to end portions of the rod. A first attaching member is provided for affixing a first end of the pressure element to a first end of the rod and a second attaching member is provided for affixing a second end of the pressure element to a second end of the rod.
