    摘要： This folding hood for protecting the passengers of chair-lifts against weather conditions comprises a plurality of bows pivoted to one another, with the rearmost box pivoted to the chair, the front portion of the hood being transparent and the rear portion thereof being provided with a backlight, the hood when unfolded converting the chair into a substantially closed compartment leaving only a front, lower aperture for the passage of the passengers' legs, the arrangement being such that the conventional guard-rail equipping the chair cannot be raised unless the hood is opened.

    摘要： The convertible seat comprises a chassis, a lower shell forming a sheilding bucket which surrounds said chassis and a transparent hemispheric cupola hinged about a diametral axis. A rapid assembling and disassembling of the convertible seat is obtained by means of a dismountable member operating as a hinge axis for the cupola and as securing axis on the seat frame for the shell. A compensating device, comprising a compensating spring associated to an adjustable friction means, is provided to balance the weight of the cupola and for damping the shocks against the stops at the end of the strokes of the cupola.

    摘要： A compound aerial tram chair cover formed with one smaller shell and a second larger shell pivotable about a horizontal axis to extend over the smaller shell in opening. The pivotable mounting of the cover provides shock absorption upon extreme pivotable motion and from an offcenter position biases the movable shell to either closed or open positions. Means are provided to maintain the cover partially open to allow comfortable extension of a user''s legs. The cover provides a small reactive surface to wind pressure while providing a large contained volume for user comfort, and allows loading during carrier motion.
