    摘要： An appliance having an enclosure arranged to receive articles to be treated also includes a water container and a steam chamber with a steam outlet. A water dispenser is arranged to dispense water from the water container to the steam chamber. A heating element is thermally associated with the steam chamber. A control is arranged to selectively operate the heating element. A steam path extends between the steam outlet and the enclosure. A chemical dispenser is positioned along the steam path. The heating element heats water in the steam chamber to create steam, and the chemical dispenser adds a chemical to the steam as the steam passes through the steam path.

    摘要： Outlets of a contraction/enlargement exhaust nozzle type are formed in an air bubble-generating plate from which fine air bubbles are generated. The outlets are constituted with outer outlets and inner outlets. The outer outlets are formed along edge portions of the air bubble-generating plate and the inner outlets are formed in the inner portions of the air bubble-generating plate. Each of the outlets has a flow-in portion, a contraction portion, and a flow-out portion which are aligned in a coaxial line and have different diameters, so that each of the outlets are formed in a shape of a contraction/enlargement exhaust nozzle type. A diameter of the flow-out portion is smaller than a diameter of the flow-in portion, but larger than a diameter of the contraction portion. A height of the contraction portion is larger than a height of the flow-out portion, but smaller than a height of the flow-in portion. The diameters of contraction portions of the outer outlets are smaller than those of contraction portions of the inner outlets. Fine air bubbles are generated from an air bubble generator having outlets of a contraction/enlargement exhaust nozzle type.

    摘要： A cleaning unit for the revolvable pads of floor maintenance equipment. Partitions maintain pads in predetermined positions in an appropriate fluid medium. An agitation unit in the form of an aerator, a circulating fluid pump, or an impeller is used to maintain fluid medium in some degree of agitation, and likewise to maintain in suspension the particulate matter, both dirt, waxes, chemicals, and other ingredients in suspension. In this way, the maximum cleaning power of the solution, such as a conventional floor-stripper-type cleaning solution, is utilized. The unit optionally includes a pad drying unit by which vertically constrained pads are allowed to drip dry, with or without the use of air-drying equipment. A suitable drain structure is provided.
