Abstract:
A drain control assembly including a receiving member having a bore and a receiving portion for selectively receiving a first actuator or a second actuator. The drain control assembly also includes a moveable member configured to move between a first position and a second position within the bore of the receiving member to cause a cable to open or close a drain valve assembly. The first actuator comprises a first body portion and is configured to move the moveable member in response to linear movement of the first body portion, and the second actuator includes a second body portion and is configured to move the moveable member in response to rotational movement of the second body portion.
Abstract:
A wall-mounted faucet control device includes a control handle and two transforming heads, wherein the control handle has two wedging ribs cross each other at the periphery of an opening of the control handle, and two transforming heads have an inserting slot on one side and a connecting surface on the other side. Two connecting slots cross with each other are recessedly formed at the connecting surface, and the connecting slots are engaged with the wedging ribs of the control handle. According to the disclosed structure, since the control handle's receiving space has detachable transforming heads, the faucet handle in the present invention can be used in different water control bases with different sizes to increase the practicability of the faucet handle, and further increase the convenience during the assembly process.
Abstract:
A fluid transfer system includes a fluid regulator having a valve and a tube in fluid communication with the valve. A housing supports the fluid regulator and includes at least a partial enclosure. At least a portion of the fluid regulator is in the enclosure. The tube extends through a first surface of the housing. A flexible conduit is in fluid communication with the fluid regulator. The flexible conduit is compatible for connection with a fluid source.
Abstract:
A flexible, plastic collar for sealing the space between a water supply line or pipe and a wall aperture, the collar including an annular, generally conical surface, a convex front face, a concave rear face, a centered opening provided with a sleeve for receiving and sealing against the pipe, a tapered edge for sealing against the wall and an annular ridge for preventing over-deflection of the collar when pressed against the wall.
Abstract:
A covering rosette for a sanitary flush-mounted fitting exhibits a covering plate, which is capable of being fastened to the flush-mounted fitting. An ornamental hood is detachably fastened to the covering plate by a latching device. The cover plate and the ornamental hood exhibit coaxial passage openings for a region of the flush-mounted fitting. The latching device exhibits a spring section comprising at least one elastically yielding spring tongue. The latching device retains the ornamental hood in such a manner that the connection brought about by the latching device is capable of being released by a tensile force acting away from the covering plant.
Abstract:
A two part faucet gauge (20), having a gauge strip (22) with strip indicia (24) and a gauge cover (26) with cover indicia (28) is utilized to reduce the time and water wasted in adjusting water to a desired pressure and temperature. The gauge strip (22) includes a raised lip (40), so that it is attached with suction to a faucet support surface (30). The gauge cover (26) preferably comprises a hollow body (44) configured to receive a faucet knob (32) therein. An operator rotates the knob (32) and cover (26) until selected indicia (24,28) from the strip (22) and cover (26) are aligned. The selected indicia (24,28) correspond to the desired pressure and temperature of the water. In an alternate embodiment, the cover (26A) and strip (22A) comprise adhesively backed sheets.
Abstract:
A dual position fastener for use in attaching a plumbing fitting having an exteriorly threaded conduit to sink decks of varying thickness has an elongated, generally cylindrical body with an interior bore. The bore is threaded. There is a radial extension at one end of the elongated body with the radial extension having oppositely facing generally parallel surfaces, which surfaces are essentially normal to the axis of the bore. One of the parallel surfaces is at the end of the fastener, with the other of the parallel surfaces being axially spaced from the one end. Each radial surface is adapted to abut the underside of a sink deck when the fastener is used in attaching a plumbing fitting. The one radial surface abuts the underside of a sink deck and the elongated body extends away from the sink deck in one position or use of the fastener, with the other radial surface abutting the underside of a sink deck and the elongated body extending toward the sink deck in a second position or use of the fastener.
Abstract:
A faucet fitting system having interchangeable components useable in both single handle and dual handle faucet fixtures. The component system is designed to allow the same putty plate with breast plate, waterway spout, aerator and mounting nuts to be used with the various escutcheons, metering valves and waterways associated with the single handle and dual handle faucet fixtures. Specially constructed water valves, putty plates and escutcheon constructions useable in conjunction with the system are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A faucet escutcheon and mounting member therefor includes an escutcheon having a generally central opening for a faucet body and a defined shape surrounding the faucet body opening. The mounting member has a defined shape similar to that of the escutcheon and dimensionally smaller whereby the mounting member is located within the confines of the escutcheon when both are mounted on a sink deck. The mounting member has a plurality of outwardly extending flexible fingers in yielding contact with the interior of the escutcheon whereby when said escutcheon and mounting member are positioned on a sink deck there is essentially no movement therebetween.
Abstract:
A water sink system comprises two knobs each turnable to adjust hot water and cold water correspondingly, and means for turning knobs to a predetermined angle so that a water from a mixing device connected with both the knobs flows with a desired temperature, the means including a scale formed as a disc and provided with a plurality of lines with numbers, and a central opening so as to be placed on an outer surface of a sink, and a pointer arranged in a bushing extending through the central opening of the scale and located inside a handle, so that by turning of the handle the pointer is turned relative to the scale.
