    摘要: An attachment mechanism for an electronic component includes a circuit board and a fastener. A first connector is fastened to the circuit board to be connected to a second connector of the electronic component. The first connector includes a mounting portion fastened to the circuit board and a main body on a top of the mounting portion. The fastener includes an engaging portion and a rotating portion rotatably connected to a first end of the engaging portion. The engaging portion sandwiches the main body. The rotating portion includes a top wall and two abutting walls extending from opposite ends of the top wall to abut a top of the main body. One of the abutting walls is rotatably connected to the first end of the engaging portion. A stop wall extends from the other abutting wall to be detachably connected a second end of the engaging portion.

The header contacts have mating portions and mounting portions. The mounting portions are configured to be surface mounted to corresponding pads on the circuit board. A spring clip is coupled to the housing. The spring clip has a spring finger extending through the circuit board to engage a bottom side of the circuit board opposite the mounting surface of the circuit board. The spring clip pulls the housing and header contacts toward the mounting surface.

    摘要: A card edge connector includes an insulative housing, a number of contacts and a pair of locking arms for holding a card. Each locking arm includes a retaining portion fixed to the insulative housing and a resilient arm extending forwardly from the retaining portion. The resilient arm is deformable outwardly so as to lock or unlock with the card. The resilient arm includes an engaging portion extending inwardly and a hook at a front of the engaging portion. The engaging portion includes a downwardly inclined surface for guiding installation of the card. The hook protrudes upwardly beyond the engaging portion so that when the card is not so inserted along a card-insertion direction, even if the card is downwardly pressed, a top edge of the hook resists against the card so as to prevent the card from further downward movement.

    摘要: A card edge connector includes a body and two latches. The body includes a base and two columns. The base includes an insertion slot formed thereon, and the two columns are disposed on the base and located two opposite ends of the base. Each of the columns includes a trench connecting to the insertion slot. Two latches are respectively disposed to the two columns. Each of the fasten portions fixes one of the latches to the corresponding column, such that an elastic arm of the latch suspends in the trench of the corresponding column. The elastic arm includes an engaging portion for moving back and forth relative to the column in the trench. When a circuit board inserts into the insertion slot of the body, the engaging portions of the latches clamp the circuit board, so as to prevent the circuit board from escaping from the card edge connector.

    摘要: A connector soldered to a PCB has an insulating housing of which two opposite ends are recessed to form a pair of holding recesses, terminals mounted in the insulating housing with soldering portions projected out of a bottom of the insulating housing, a pair of supporting members mounted to two opposite ends of the insulating housing and a pair of supporting members. A bottom of the supporting member extends perpendicularly to form an inserting slice having a portion thereof punched sideward to form a projection. The positioning member mounted to the inserting slice has a soldering tail and a base slice having two opposite ends thereof bent sideward and then extended toward each other to form a pair of clasping portions. A guiding slot is opened in the base portion for receiving the projection. The projection can move up and down in the guiding slot to adjust the position of the positioning member to keep the soldering portions and the soldering tails level even when there is tolerance in production.
