摘要: Handover is performed from a first radio network controller to a second radio network controller, where the first and second radio network controllers are associated with corresponding first and second control nodes. An access gateway node receives at least one command that is transmitted by one of the first and second control nodes associated with the respective first and second radio network controllers, where the access gateway node contains data functions of the first and second control nodes. In response to the at least one command, the access gateway node bicasts traffic data from the data functions for receipt by the first and second radio network controllers.

摘要: The present application relates to a method in which a relay node receives control signals from a base station in a wireless communication system. More particularly, the method comprises: a step of receiving, from the base station, a relay-node-dedicated physical downlink control channel (R-PDCCH) via a specific subframe; and a step of performing a blind decoding process on the physical downlink control channel to detect control information for the relay node, wherein said specific subframe includes a first slot and a second slot, and the size of a relay-node-dedicated control channel element (R-CCE) for performing the blind decoding process is individually defined depending on the number of reference signals contained in the first slot and in the second slot.

摘要: The present invention relates to a multicast and broadcast service (MCBCS) system and method. According to the present invention, the MCBCS system comprises: an MBS distribution DPF (Data Patch Function) for receiving MBS data from an MCBCS server/controller and distributing the data; an MBS synchronization controller for acquiring GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) for the MBS data from the MBS distribution DPF and then generating an MBS synchronization rule; an MBS synchronization executor for executing MBS synchronization on the MBS synchronization rule received from the MBS synchronization controller; and an MBS DPF for receiving MBS data from the MBS distribution DPF, packaging the MBS data into an MBS burst and then transmitting the data to an MS (Mobile station). As such, multicast and broadcast services can be provided efficiently.

摘要: A mobile station for communicating with base stations simultaneously in diversity handover. The mobile station monitors radio condition quality corresponding to a plurality of branches, selects one or more addition branch candidates based on the monitored radio condition quality. The mobile station arranges the addition branch candidates in order of the monitored radio condition quality; notifies a center of information on said plurality of branches including said addition branch candidates, the addition branch candidates being notified in the arranged order. Alternatively, the mobile station obtains a relative value of each of the addition branch candidates indicative of order of precedence to be used for the diversity handover based on the monitored radio condition quality of said addition branch candidates; and notifies a center of information on said plurality of branches including said addition branch candidates and their relative values.

摘要: A structured wireless mesh network is disclosed where a tree-like connection topology is formed. In one embodiment, each node has separate uplink and downlink radios operating on different channels. When a cluster of such nodes becomes isolated as in the case of a mobile mesh application, a node in the cluster according to this invention acts as a root node thus enabling the tree structure to persist, even in isolation. Example methods of joining sub networks are disclosed that guide the joining of mesh networks and channel management. Nodes that may operate in isolation also support a distributed DHCP capability such that IP addresses are assigned to clients even when a connection to a central DHCP server is unavailable.

摘要: A system, device, and method for aggregating traffic in a network, such as for wireless backhaul traffic in a cellular communication system. UE device traffic is sent to and from an access bridge, which is one node in an access network formed into a ring topology, and from the access bridge to a core bridge in communication with a core network of the communication system. According to a preferred embodiment, the access bridge and the core bridge each have a LAG component configured according to IEEE 802.1D and IEEE 802.3-2005, and a ring component configured according to IEEE 802.1Q or 802.1AD. In operation, this LAG component load balances communication traffic coming into the bridge node onto one of two VLANs formed of portions of the access network ring. In the event of a fault condition affecting one of the two VLANs, the fault VLAN is removed from the aggregation scheme until the fault condition is alleviated.
