摘要： An apparel support device particularly adapted for hanging a plurality of neckties comprising a rectangular base member having a longitudinal channel formed therein and including opposed longitudinal grooves for receiving side flanges of a channel shaped hanger support member. A sheet metal hanger support member has opposed end flanges which are bent into a plane normal to the web of the hanger support member to provide for retaining the hanger support member on the base member and to provide limited movement of the hanger support member with respect to the base member to align cooperating fastener clearance holes on the respective members. The clearance holes in the hanger support member are in a conical boss formed by displacing portions of the web of the support member. Formed wire hanger members include a distal end formed into a circular loop having equal circular portions extending on opposite sides of the shank portion of the hanger member.

摘要： A hideaway tie rack is disclosed for a sliding door closet. The tie rack includes an elongated, cylindrical, hollow housing having an inner diameter of a first dimension, having a first open end and a second opposed end. The housing has an elongated, longitudinal slot extending axially along its surface, which has a circumferential width and which opens onto the first end of the housing. The housing is mounted on the back of the sliding door in a substantially horizontal orientation. The tie rack further includes an elongated cylindrical tube having an outer diameter of a second dimension which is less than the inner diameter of the housing. The tube has a first end and an opposed second end which slideably enters the first end of the housing. This enables the tube to be mounted within the hollow interior of the housing in axial sliding engagement with the housing. The tie rack still further includes a bar having a cross sectional dimension less than the circumferential width of the slot in the housing. The bar has a first end mounted to the first end of the tube, a second end mounted to the second end of the tube, and an intermediate, horizontal rack portion between the first and second ends of the bar which is suspended in spaced, parallel relationship with the tube. The rack portion projects through the slot in the housing and is in axial sliding engagement with it. In this manner, neckties may be hung from the horizontal rack portion of the bar when the tube extends out from the first end of the housing in a deployed position. Then the tube can be substantially completely inserted into the housing to form a more compact tie rack which can be concealed behind the sliding door to enable the door to be closed.

摘要： A belt display device of the type adapted to engage the buckle element of a dress belt, the buckle having a laterally projecting locking stud. The device engages the locking stud in such a manner that when the device is suspended upon a horizontally oriented rail or similar supporting structure adjacent other similarly suspended belts, the free end of the locking stud is prevented from contacting the outer surface of an adjacent buckle thereby avoiding the possibility of marring said surface.

摘要： A telescoping tie rack comprises at least one telescoping section slidingly interfitted to a stationary support section. The bodies of both the support and telescoping sections are formed of a lightweight metal, such as aluminum. Plastic runners are snap fitted to the telescoping sections to prevent binding and provide smooth and quiet telescoping action. Laterally extending hanger elements are carried by the innermost telescoping section and spaced longitudinally thereof. For easy assembly, these elements are snap fitted to the sections. In a first embodiment, the tie rack is mountable to a wall surface and horizontal clothes supporting rod by means of a hook plate secured to the wall and a drop in U-connector mountable to the rod. A pair of spaced apart standoff ribs formed on the support section abut the rod at two points spaced laterally outward from the central support rails that receive the U-connector thereby providing greater lateral stability. In a second embodiment, the tie rack is mountable directly to the lower surface of a closet shelf or top of a cabinet with a screw mounting plate formed on the support section.

摘要： A plurality of tie hanger members are mounted and retained in stacked relation on a straight vertical portion of a support rod which includes an upper hook portion adapted to receive a clothes bar within a closet. Each of the hanger members is generally flat and includes diametrically opposed arms which project outwardly from an integrally connecting hub portion having a hole for receiving the rod to provide for independent rotation of each hanger member on the rod. The arms of each hanger member include upwardly projecting tip portions which are adapted to engage the adjacent hanger member thereabove in response to relative rotation of the adjacent hanger members so that the entire set of hanger members may be rotated as a unit on the support rod and thereby avoid entanglement of the ties looped over the arms. The arms of each hanger member also include upwardly projecting studs spaced inwardly of the corresponding tip portions for limiting inward sliding movement of the ties on the arms.
