    Abstract: The invention relates to a protective device to be utilized on the handlebar of a vehicle equipped with control levers mounted on the handlebar adjacent to the handlebar grips. The device of the invention prevents control levers from imparting damage to the surroundings when the vehicle is transported. The device of the invention further protects the control levers and grips from damage by contact with nearby objects during transportation of the vehicle. The device of the invention further keeps a brake control lever in the fully pulled position, thus actuating the brake and preventing rotation of the braked wheel or wheels.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a chloroprene copolymer latex composition, a molded article of chloroprene copolymer rubber, or a dip-molded product, and the chloroprene copolymer latex composition includes a chloroprene copolymer (A) and a vulcanization accelerator (B). The chloroprene copolymer (A) includes monomer units derived from chloroprene and from 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene. The chloroprene copolymer latex composition includes a carbamate-based vulcanization accelerator and a thiazole-based vulcanization accelerator as the vulcanization accelerator (B). The chloroprene copolymer latex composition enables production of a molded article having high flexibility and high tensile strength without use of a vulcanization accelerator that is feared to have skin sensitization.

    Abstract: An improved glove has both anatomically correlating stress relief zones and/or reinforced zones to add support in areas opposite the stress relief zones to keep bunching or slipping of the glove from interfering with the bending of the user's joints. The glove may have corrugated relief zones over some or all of the joints and knuckles of the hand, wherein the relief zones are formed of peaks and valleys. A relief zone can also be provided over the webbing between the thumb and the palm. The vertical or longitudinal relief zones provide for improved glove quality while keeping manufacturing difficulty and costs at a minimum.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for reprocessing elastomeric films or articles comprising an elastomer film wherein the elastomeric film is made from a polymer latex comprising: (a) particles of a carboxylated conjugated diene nitrile latex polymer (a) obtainable by free-radical emulsion polymerization of a mixture of ethylenically unsaturated monomers comprising: 15 to 99 wt.-% of conjugated dienes; 1 to 80 wt.-% of monomers selected from ethylenically unsaturated nitrile compounds; 0.05 to 10 wt.-% of ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and/or salts thereof; 0 to 50 wt.-% of vinyl aromatic monomers; and 0 to 65 wt.-% of alkyl esters of ethylenically unsaturated acids, the weight percentages being based on the total monomers in the mixture in combination or association with (b) particles of a latex polymer (b) comprising at least one oxirane-functional group; wherein the monomer composition of the latex polymer (a) is different from the monomer composition of the latex polymer (b) and to the use said polymer latex to make an elastomeric film obtained from said polymer latex self-healing, repairable and/or recyclable.
