摘要： A bath tap fitting in the known way comprises a securing device which can be attached to a mounting plate. This has a securing body which extends upward and in its upper area possesses a multi-faced outer contour. An outlet spout can be fitted to the securing body with a multi-faced seating aperture so that it does not turn. A locking screw can be screwed through a threaded hole of the outlet spout against the securing body so that two faces of the seating aperture of the outlet spout, enclosing an angle with each other are pressed against two faces of the securing body enclosing a corresponding angle. In this way the securing body is nullwedgednull in the seating aperture of the outlet spout. The outlet spout sits absolutely firmly on the securing body.

摘要： A control for controlling the flow of water to a bathtub and shower which may be readily assembled using standard electrically operated valves. The control includes a pair of electrically operated variable position valves, one in each of the hot and cold water supply pipes or lines for regulating the flow of water through the associated line. A manifold is provided downstream of the hot and cold water supply lines. A pair of pipes or lines extend away from the manifold to the tub and to the shower, each line being provided with a normally closed electrically operated nullon/offnull valve. An electrical control circuit is provided for operating the various valves so that water flow can be initiated either to the bathtub faucet or to the shower head, and so that hot and cold water flow rates may be varied.

摘要： A manually-operated valve is provided in series with an electromagnetically-operated valve and the manually-operated valve is provided with a proximity detector connected to the electronic controller whereby a switch in the manually-operated valve, in one position of the single control lever therefor, corresponding to about 50% of maximum supply rate, is operated to activate the proximity sensor and enable the water flow to be controlled by an object within its detection range. Removal of the object, e.g. the hand of the user from the range, will shut off the water through the manually-operated valve. Outside the position of the lever at which the switch is operated, the proximity detector is ineffective and control is effected exclusively by swinging the lever.

摘要： A modular center set faucet or bar spout in which the faucet trim or bar spout trim may be removed from or reinstalled from above the sink deck without affecting the waterway connections beneath the sink deck. Each faucet or bar spout assembly includes a valve body with a trim set. The valve body includes a pair of elongated tubular conduits spaced from each other to extend through the passages in the sink deck. A cartridge chamber is formed in each of the elongated tubular conduit with a cross conduit connecting the tubular conduits. A water outlet nipple leads from the cross conduit. The water outlet nipple has a slide-on fitting located above the sink deck when the pair of elongated tubular conduits are positioned to extend through the passages. The trim set may include a waterway and an escutcheon with the waterway positioned in the escutcheon. The waterway has a water inlet with a slide-on fitting extending outwardly of the escutcheon to connect with the slide-on fitting of the cross conduit when the trim set is installed on the valve body. The bar spout trim set includes an escutcheon, an adapter and a spout. The escutcheon has an open bottom and a spout connecting passage formed in its top surface. The spout adapter is positioned in the escutcheon and has a slide-on inlet connection to receive and connect to the water outlet nipple of the valve body. The spout assembly includes a spout having an inlet end and an outlet end. The inlet end is formed to be received in a spout adapter outlet with a hub positioned over the inlet end and threadedly connected to the adapter outlet to fasten the spout assembly to the spout adapter.

摘要： A spray head for a faucet or the like has a wand body defining a flow path from an inlet to first and second outlets. Diverter seats are provided so a face seal on a diverter spool can direct flow to the first or second outlet. The spool is positioned by a trigger acting on cam surfaces formed on a toggle. A spring biases the toggle to one of two stable states. Movement of the spool by the trigger causes the toggle to change states so subsequent actuation of the trigger causes the spool to move in the opposite direction. The wand body also has a pause button that reciprocates in a chamber that is part of the flow path. The chamber includes a valve seat and the pause button has a spool having a face seal that is engageable with the valve seat to shut off flow through the spray head. A return spring causes separation of the pause button's face seal upon release of pressure on the pause button. The pause button's seals in the chamber are arranged to have equal diameters and thus provide balanced hydraulic forces on the spool.
