Abstract:
This invention is related to a convenient and multi-purpose rack structure, especially it is related to a rack structure whose materials can be plastic metal or porcelain, all materials typically used in towel racks, tooth brush holders, sinks, electric appliances, chandeliers and decorations. This invention discloses a rack structure comprising a fixing part (3) which has both ends bent and screw holes (41), screws (4) inserted through an installing part (2) which has an opening (2A) to receive the fixing part (3), a strengthen holder (5), and a hole to insert a bolt (4) to sustain the installing part (2) on the wall. The strengthen holder (5) forms steps to adapt the holder on the bottom of the opening (2A) of the installing part (2).
Abstract:
A wall fixture includes a post, a disc member, a cover plate and a locking piece. The post has a top end with a recessed hole and a bottom end with threaded socket. The disc member has a recessed groove formed therein. The recessed groove has a central protrusion portion extending upward of the same. A through-hole is formed in the protrusion portion. Two pairs of holes are provided on the plate member. One pair of the holes is specially designed to have a narrow portion and a large portion. A cover plate with a second rectangular hole therein, is provided on the disc member. When the post is mounted on the cover plate, the socket in the bottom end of the post, and both rectangular holes (of the cover plate and the disc member) are aligned.
Abstract:
A towel support, which includes a wall plate having a projecting stem and elongated mounting holes for easy alignment of flat head screws with anchors which are secured inside a wall, to fasten the wall plate onto the wall, and a connector to secure hanging device to the mounting plate for holding towels. The connector comprises an axial hole into which the stem of the wall plate is inserted, a bolt hole vertically in communication with the axial hole, and a screw rod movably fastening in the bolt hole pressing against the top taper end of the stem to firmly secure the connector thereto.
Abstract:
A towel rack mounting means including a triangular bracket which has three contacts with the interior of a circular base. The bracket has three flanges oriented in a triangular array. The round base is locked onto the bracket by screwing a threaded member through the wall of the base to contact one of the bracket flanges, causing the other two bracket flanges to engage a groove on the inner side of the base wall.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a hanger with improved positioning structure which can be fastened onto a wall by flat head screws. The flat head screws are concealed from view and are protected from breaking away from the wall. The hanger includes a brass mounting plate which is fastened onto wall surface separately from a brass cover plate by screws, which match with anchors in the wall. A spring is mounted on a mounting plate stem of the brass mounting plate. The brass cover plate is mounted on the mounting plate stem of the brass mounting plate so as to compress the spring cover the brass mounting plate, and conceal the flat head screws. A ceramic inset is set in a circular recess of the brass cover plate to make the structure more attractive. A connector connects with the mounting plate stem of the brass mounting plate by a pivot bolt so that the brass cover plate and the ceramic insert can be firmly retained between the brass mounting plate and the connector. A hanger device is coupled with the connector for hanging of towels or clothing or the like.
Abstract:
A support bracket for supporting in a cantilever fashion a glass or marble shelf has a laterally oriented throat to receive the rear portion of a shelf panel and an adjustment screw extending from the throat bottom to bias the shelf rear portion into restraining engagement with a support surface on the throat top. Cushioning means are provided in association with the adjustment screw to distribute the biasing force of the screw uniformly over an area of the shelf surface. In some embodiments the cushioning means is a separate resilient member between the screw and a shelf and in other embodiments the screw is made of a polymeric material to provide the cushioning means.
Abstract:
An improved fixture mounting is provided for a cantilevered fixture having a relatively broad base, or rear portion, adapted to be affixed to a support wall or other support surface. The mounting base portion of the fixture is provided with a cavity that is concealed and surrounded by a rearwardly extending wall provided as part of the base of the fixture. Located in the cavity is a first connecting plate having a pair of oppositely positioned flanges that are rearwardly projected, with the first connecting plate and flanges being secured to the fixture that is located forwardly of a support wall that carries thereon a second plate with forwardly projected flanges for support cooperation with the flanges on the first plate, and so that both plates are positioned wholly within the cavity. An adjustable set screw carried on one of the fixture's connecting plate's flanges is arranged and constructed to exert pressure on one of the wall's connecting plate flanges to secure a pressure fit between the connecting plates, and effecting a rigid mounting between the fixture and its associated support wall.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a clip-on system for a multi-purpose, snap-clamp device capable of releasably holding objects in either vertical or horizontal alignments. The system allows a user to select a horizontal or vertical alignment for the snap-clamp device. The system includes a body fastened to a wall or the like and having a compartment with a front wall forming a central passage and two pairs of slots. A mounting member carrying the snap-clamp device on one side has a fastener on the other side. The fastener includes a shaft and two pairs of arms extending at right angles from the shaft. The slots in the front wall of the body receive the arms and the central passage mounts the shaft. The arms are wedged and where the mounting member is rotated the edge of the wedges, which extend slightly into the compartment, catch the inner surface of the front wall of the body and wedge the mounting member into a locked position. The arms can be rotated before insertion so that the clamp is aligned either vertically or horizontally and in opposite directions. The clamp device is aligned either at an angle relative to the mounting member or to the slots according to the embodiment selected.
Abstract:
A support for a towel rack or other fixture including a mounting plate adapted to be attached by a fastener or fasteners to a supporting wall, a post supported by the mounting plate and projecting outwardly therefrom and which is of non-circular external cross-section, a cover plate disposed about the non-circular post outwardly of the mounting plate and containing an opening through which the post extends in a loosely fitting relation allowing the cover plate to be shifted transversely of the post during assembly of the parts in order to allow access of a tool to the attaching screws, with an additional part being disposed about the post and fitting closely thereon and acting to bridge across the space between the post and the cover plate in the assembled condition of the fixture.
