    Abstract: A display device includes: a visual sensor for generating visual sensing data by sensing an eye of a user; a display panel including a display area and pixels disposed on the display area; an image converter for generating a second image signal by converting a first image signal of the pixels based on the visual sensing data; and a data driver for providing the pixels with data signals corresponding to the second image signal. The image converter generates visual information based on the visual sensing data, determines a first area and a second area different from the first area of the display area based on the visual information, and generates the second image signal by converting grayscales of the second area in the first image signal.

    Abstract: A flexible display apparatus including a bending area and a non-bending area. The flexible display apparatus further includes a display panel and a polarizing structure disposed on the display panel. The polarizing structure includes a λ/4 phase retardation layer, a linear polarizer disposed on the λ/4 phase retardation layer, and a first adhesive structure disposed between the λ/4 phase retardation layer and the linear polarizer. The linear polarizer includes a stretched polymer film. The first adhesive structure is an adhesive layer with a glass transition temperature that is greater than or equal to 40° C. and less than or equal to 150° C. Accordingly, deformation of the λ/4 phase retardation layer may be prevented or reduced when the flexible display apparatus is folded or bent, thereby improving display quality.

    Abstract: A display panel includes a front display area and a bending display area which is bent from the front display area, a base layer corresponding to the front display area and the bending display area, a circuit layer on the base layer, a light emitting element layer on the circuit layer and overlapping the display areas, and an encapsulation layer on the light emitting element layer. The encapsulation layer includes a first thickness portion overlapping the front display area, a second thickness portion overlapping the bending display area, and a first distance from a top surface of the base layer to a top surface of the encapsulation layer at the first thickness portion which is less than a second distance from the top surface of the base layer to a top surface of the encapsulation layer at the second thickness portion.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a display panel includes: preparing for a base layer including a pad inside the base layer, forming an opening such that the pad are exposed by etching a portion of the base layer, preparing for a circuit film having a preliminary circuit film line provided in the circuit film, forming a circuit film line from the preliminary circuit film line by irradiating a laser beam to the circuit film, disposing the base layer and the circuit film such that the pad and the circuit film line overlap each other on a stage, and disposing a transfer substrate on the base layer, and forming a conductive pattern on the pad and the circuit film line, where the forming of the conductive pattern includes irradiating a first laser beam on the transfer substrate.
