摘要: A vent system includes a plurality of vent panels. Each vent panel includes a body having first and second sidewalls and first and second end walls. Each of the first and second end walls includes a first set of lateral vents and a second set of lateral vents. The first set of lateral vents is disposed at a first angle relative to the first end wall and a second set of lateral vents is disposed at a second angle relative to the second end wall. A first vented portion is disposed between the first sidewall and the body. A second vented portion is disposed between the second sidewall and the body. The first and second vented portions each include laterally-extending vent supports that define a plurality of vent openings that support the flow of air therethrough. A plurality of flexure vanes are disposed on each of the first and second sidewalls. A flexure channel is disposed adjacent to each of the plurality of flexure vanes that allow for some flexure of the vent panel. A plurality of weep holes are disposed on each of the first and second sidewalls.

摘要: A rollable ridge vent panel includes first and second sidewalls, each including flexure portions. A side member extends in a direction that is parallel with the longitudinal extent of the ridge vent panel. A flex member includes a first wall and a second wall that are connected via a flex line and which flare from a top side of the ridge vent panel to a bottom side of the ridge vent panel. A first vented portion is disposed between the first sidewall and the body. A second vented portion is disposed between the second sidewall and the body. A plurality of primary buttresses are disposed in a parallel arrangement on an underside of the body, each being disposed substantially normal to the body. A plurality of secondary buttresses are disposed parallel to the plurality of primary buttresses on the underside of the body.

摘要: An interlocking panel system for top-down or bottom-up installation on an underlying structure including a plurality of panels, with an uphill course and a downhill course where each panel is generally rectangular, having an uphill edge and opposing downhill edge. An interlocking member is disposed along the uphill edge, and a receiving member adapted to receive the interlocking member and a joining flange are disposed along the downhill edge. A first panel is positioned on an underlying structure. In top-down installation, a clip is disposed along the downhill edge of the first panel and affixed to the underlying structure, and a second panel is engaged with the receiving member of the first panel. In bottom-up installation, the first panel is affixed to the underlying structure, and a second panel is engaged with the interlocking member of the first panel, and then affixed to the underlying structure.

摘要: A soffit enclosure for building roofs and the like of the type having at least one eave with a soffit thereunder. A first mounting member is attached to an adjacent exterior wall of the building and a second mounting member is disposed on a roof fascia of the building. The first and second mounting members support a plurality of soffit panels thereon. A decorative corbel member has a generally flat upper mounting portion with opposite end edges, a decorative lower portion shaped to enhance the appearance of the eave of the building, and first and second rigid hanger tabs disposed above and generally parallel with the mounting portion. The hanger tabs project longitudinally from the opposite end edges of the upper mounting portion and are configured for sequentially inserting into the first and second mounting members. The corbel member overlies adjacent soffit panel to conceal a joint disposed therebetween.

摘要: A heated guard for rain gutters includes a cap which deflects debris from the interior of the gutter. A plurality of mounting brackets are positioned within the interior of the gutter in a laterally spaced apart relationship, and are connected with an associated roof fascia. Each of the mounting brackets has an upper portion supporting the cap, and a forward portion with a horizontal slot. A hat-shaped channel extends between the mounting brackets, has a U-shaped base received in the slot of the mounting brackets, and is attached to the mounting brackets and positioned under the cap. An elongate electric heater element is positioned in the base portion of the channel, and is positively retained therein and covered by the cap. The heater element is connected with a source of electrical power to heat the heater element, the channel and the cap to melt snow and ice thereon.
