摘要： An electronic device includes a processor, an internal memory for storing system information and installing programs, and a memory expansion interface for connecting an expansion memory. The expansion memory is partitioned into at least one region to expand the internal memory. The internal memory is partitioned into a system region and a user region; the system region is used to store system information while the user region can be controlled and used by a user. The processor further includes a detection unit and a memory management unit. The detection unit detects the connection of the expansion memory to the memory expansion interface, and the memory management unit determines whether the expansion memory has been previously configured to expand the internal memory, and if not, the memory management unit associates the expansion memory with the internal memory to expand the internal memory.

摘要： A digital photo frame (DPF) includes a power source, a power management unit, a display panel, a backlight unit, a touch sensing unit and a processing unit. The display panel includes a reflective structure. The power management unit is used to manage the power supply from the power source to the DPF. The touch sensing unit is used to produce a touch signal when detecting the DPF is touched by a user. The processing unit receives the touch signal, and controls the management unit to discontinue the power from the power source to the backlight unit, therefore display panel reflects images via the reflective structure.

摘要： A shake responsive handheld device is provided. The shake responsive handheld device comprises a vibration switch. The vibration switch changes its state between an electrically open state and an electrically closed state during a shaking of the housing. The handheld device also includes a storage unit and a processor. The storage unit stores plurality of first type media files and a table. The first type media files are configured for reproducing sounds of tumbling dice in a dice shaker and the table is configured for defining a plurality of shaking levels, each of which corresponds to one of the first type media files. The processor, in response to signals from the vibration switch, is capable of monitoring the shaking level of the shaking of the housing, determining one of the first type media files corresponding to the shaking level according to the table, and playing the one of the first type media files until the shaking level changes.

摘要： The vibration switch includes a housing with a chamber formed thereon and extended in a longitudinal direction. Two attachment means are disposed at two ends of the chamber respectively. Two spring means are received in the chamber and attached to the two attachment means respectively. Two electric contact terminals are electrically connected to the two spring means respectively. An electrically conductive inertial weight received in the chamber and disposed between the two spring means. When the vibration switch is jerked in the longitudinal direction, the inertial weight is capable of moving by inertial force from an initial position to positions where the inertial weight contacts or disengages one of the two spring means, making the vibration switch change from an initial state to a switch-on state or a switch-off state; the inertial weight is capable of returning to the inertial position by the spring force of the two spring means.
