Owing to the substantially uniform color differences between the respectively adjacent tones, multiple-tone displays which are uniformly seen by the human eye can be obtained.

In accordance with one embodiment, a data storage device is provided having a circuit board and a connector for making a connection with an external interface. 摘要： Damage of a connection between a connector and a circuit board on which the connector is mounted is to be prevented at the time of connecting the connector with a corresponding connector on a host side. In one embodiment, an HDD is provided with a serial ATA connector. The connector is mounted on a circuit board. The HDD is also provided with stiffeners for fixing the connector to the circuit board. When the connector moves toward a base at the time of connection thereof to a host-side connector, the stiffeners come into abutment against the base to stop the movement of the connector. As a result, damage of the connection between the connector and the circuit board can be prevented.

摘要： An inertial latch for preventing an actuator arm, which is a component of a disk apparatus, from flying out from an unloading position because of an external shock. The actuator arm cannot be prevented from flying out from the unloading position because of repulsion produced when the actuator arm crashes against a stopper, by operation other than an external shock. A latch, for engaging with a point end portion of the actuator arm to prevent the actuator arm from flying out, is provided with a sensing protrusion 16e. When the actuator arm crashes against an outer crash stop, the shock causes the latch to rotate and engage with the actuator arm, whereby the actuator arm is prevented from flying out.
