Abstract:
The present invention concerns a device for turning the feed device of a rock drill with references to the guiding jib around a transversal, fixed, horizontal shaft by the aid of a power cylinder. The invention is characterized in that the feed device has been connected to a turning shaft running parallel to the said fixed shaft and journalled in a turning head turnably carried on the fixed shaft, which shafts have been connected with each other, most appropriately with the aid of gears, and that a power cylinder has been connected between the guiding jib and the turning head.
Abstract:
A compound paper machine system for producing multi-layer paper webs which includes several web forming units and a common endless lower wire or felt therebeneath on which the individual webs are deposited. Each web forming unit may comprise a forming cylinder on which slurry is deposited from a headbox and a separate endless wire or felt which laps part of the upper surface of each cylinder and which is guided so as to deposit the individually formed webs onto the common endless lower wire or felt. Optionally the separate lapping wires or felts for each unit can be a single porous belt.
Abstract:
Drying cylinder for paper webs and equivalent having a rotatable cylindrical mantle, to the inside of which there have been attached several coaxially arranged annular heating elements. The heating elements are electrical resistances which are separately adjustable for achievement of desired temperature profile across the mantle surface of the drying cylinder.
