Abstract:
A child safety seat with a transverse engaging base is provided. The child safety seat has an engagement portion for engaging with the base in transverse direction. The base is formed with at least a transverse engaging space which includes a first upper abutting face, a second abutting face and a support face so as to receive and retain the child safety seat therebetween. A positioning element is operatively mounted between the child safety seat and the base, so as to releasably lock the child safety seat within the transverse engaging space.
Abstract:
A shock absorbing mechanism is adapted for cushioning a stroller via a flexible arched deformation, has a connecting member comprising at least an arched transverse portion, a pair of arched longitudinal portions connected by the arched transverse portion at mid-portion, and a plurality of seesawing mounts having a first end mounted to the arched longitudinal portions, a second portion pivotally connected to the struts respectively, and a middle portion pivotally supported by the wheels. The weight of the stroller and content shall be vertically imposed on the second end of the seesawing mounts, that makes each of the seesawing mounts rotates about its middle portion in an angle thereby to tilt the first end upwardly in a proportional angle for bending the arched longitudinal portions upwardly for balancing the weight and cushioning a passenger sitting in the stroller while the stroller traveling on bumpy terrain.
Abstract:
A carrier basket has a bracket body, a pair of front basket-holding rods, a pair of positioning elements, and a rear basket-holding rod. The pair of front basket-holding rods is connected to both sides of the stroller frame, respectively. Each of the pair of positioning elements has a connecting portion for connecting with rear end of the front basket-holding rods, a pivotal portion for connecting with the rear basket-holding rod, and a pair of snap edges for holding the rear basket-holding rod in a first position. When the rear basket-holding rod is rotated in a direction against the snap edges, the snap edges can be pressed to open wider, thereby releasing the rear basket-holding rod from the first position and opening the rear end of the bracket.
Abstract:
A locking device for collapsable stroller is located at the gripping portion of handle. The locking device comprises a housing, a pair of meshed gear members in the housing pivotal in two different opposite directions, a push button engaged with gear members, and a pair of steel cables coupled to the gear members. Whereby, pressing a push button pulls steel cables toward the center of gripping portion, thereby unlocking the latches so as to unfold the stroller thereafter. The stroller further comprises a safety mechanism at the upper side of one gear member. Safety mechanism comprises a pawl-like member caught by the gear member in the locked state of the stroller, thus preventing latches from accidentally being unlocked.
Abstract:
A flexible transmission device utilizes two flexible cables or ropes to pass through a narrow passage and connect two operating elements. An extendable mechanism is an intermediate of the two flexible elements. The extendable mechanism includes two tubes co-axially linked to each other. The two flexible elements overlap in the extendable mechanism in a free moving condition, which allows the relative distance between the two operating elements changing. When a flexible element is pulled from an operating member, a slider connected between the two flexible elements will be biased to fasten the two flexible elements so that the drag force can be transmitted to the second operating member.
Abstract:
A baby stroller having a switchable handle, a tray accessory, and an attachment device for attaching the tray accessory to the handle. The attachment device, which allows the handle to be switchable between a first forward position and a second backward position of the handle The attachment device, which allows the handle to be switchable between a first forward position and a second backward position of the handle while maintaining the tray accessory at the same horizontal level, includes: (a) a cylindrical member sleeved on the handle, the cylindrical member including a circumferential flange protruded from a side face of the cylindrical member and a first channel and a second channel formed inside the circumferential flange, the first and second channels being formed corresponding to the first forward and the second backward positions, respectively, of the handle; (b) an attachment member protruded from each side of the tray accessory, the attachment member being pivotably received by the circumferential flange of the cylindrical member; and (c) a positioning member slidably movable in the attachment member, the positioning member being structured so that it can be received in either the first or the second channel so as secure the tray accessory to the cylindrical member while allowing the handle to switch between the first forward position and the second backward position of the handle and maintaining the tray accessory at a constant horizontal level between the first and the second positions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a child walker, which utilizes a circular base member and a specially designed moving device to provide the functions of tipping preventing and auto-braking. By these designs, the child walker can prevent from tipping when it passes over an edge of a floor or vicinity of stair steps and control the speed of the child walker. The moving device is connected to the bottom of the circular base member for supporting the circular base member, wherein the moving device further comprises un-directional rollers for moving to an uncertain direction, directional rollers for moving to a certain direction but with a little deviation in angle from the forward direction and a stopping means for prevent the child walker from tipping when any roller is passing over an edge of a floor and then inclining by the friction between the bottom of the circular base member and the surface of the floor.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a locking device for a foldable stroller, which is applied in a foldable stroller which is constructed of a plurality of frames capable of folding and unfolding, especially in control means which is two-stage in the operation process of folding and unfolding. The present invention utilizes a sliding element to control two frames of a stroller in both folded and unfolded positions. In its first position, the frames is stationary and fixed. Once the sliding element is pulled at first stage, one frame escapes therefrom and stops until reaching a stop tip. In the second stage, the frames is still stopped by ring-pull thereof after the sliding element is pulled again, and the frames are finally unfolded until the sliding element is continuing pulling again.
