    摘要: Elastic cushion sheets are interposed between the side faces of the tape convolutions and respective halves of the casing of a magnetic tape magazine. The cushion sheets are held on the inner face of the halves by the engagement between a pair of holes provided through each of the cushion sheets and a pair of projections formed integrally on each of the halves. The outer diameter of the projections is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the holes. The projections are initially formed to extend vertically from each half of the casing, and at least one of them on each half of the casing is made to incline with respect to the vertical after the cushion sheet is put thereon with the holes thereof engaged with the projections. The free end of each inclined projection is moved laterally beyond the edge of the associated hole. The cushion sheet is prevented from falling from the half of the casing even if the half is inverted with the inner face thereof directed downwardly as in assembling the tape magazine, whereby assembly is facilitated.

    摘要: Guide bars are positioned to define the center of a magnetic recording medium by contacting the inner circumference of a circular hole of the magnetic recording medium. Through holes are positioned in a medium grasping portion of a lower hub at equal distances from the center of the lower hub. The guide bars are inserted into the through holes of the lower hub and engaged with the inner circumference of the circular hole of the magnetic recording medium mounted on the lower hub. The end portions of the guide bars are then pushed by an upper hub to which a double-faced adhesive member is secured, thereby moving said guide bars away from the surface of the magnetic recording medium and securing the double-faced adhesive member to the magnetic recording medium and the lower hub.

    摘要: In a magnetic disk cartridge, a slide valve for prevention of erroneous erasure is slidably supported in a cartridge case having a detection hole adapted to be closed by the slide valve when the slide valve is at a predetermined sliding position. A resilient lock arm having projections at the ends is positioned on a side face of the slide valve integrally therewith. A pair of recess portions are positioned integrally with the case for receiving and retaining the projections of the lock arm, so that one of the projections is retained and stopped in one of the recess portions when the slide valve is at the sliding position for closing the detection hole the other projection is retained and stopped in the other recess portion when the slide valve is at the sliding position for opening the detection hole.

A U-shaped shield plate is disposed between and behind guide poles which protrude on both sides of a magnetic head inserting hole. The shield plate has two end portions shaped so as to form a pair of substantially semicylindrically curved pieces extending in the widthwise direction of the shield plate. Each pair is fitted around a corresponding one of the guide poles. A cutout is formed between the curved pieces having a width slightly greater than the width of the magnetic tape, thereby forming a tape running path with the curved pieces.

    摘要: A magnetic tape cassette is provided with a pair of rotatable reels each having an upper and lower flange formed with suitable gear teeth. A braking assembly is comprised of first and second ratchet pawls pivotally mounted on a support member which is slidably mounted on the housing of the cassette. The first ratchet pawls are spring biased into engagement with one of the flanges of each reel and are adapted to be pivoted upon insertion of a brake release lever into the cassette. The second ratchet pawl engages the other flange of each reel when the support member is in a first position and is disengaged therefrom when the support member is in a second position.
