    摘要: The short-pulse laser light 9 emitted from the short-pulse laser light source 1 is focused on and caused to irradiate an organic crystal 8 contained in a sample container 6 via a shutter 2, intensity adjusting element 3, irradiation position control mechanism 4, and focusing optical system 5. The sample container 6 is carried on a stage 7, and can be moved in three dimensions along the x axis, y axis and z axis in an x-y-z orthogonal coordinate system with the direction of the optical axis being taken as the z axis; furthermore, the sample container 6 can be rotated about the z axis. Working of the organic crystal 8 is performed by means of short-pulse laser light that is focused on and caused to irradiate the surface of the organic crystal 8. Prior to working, nitrogen is caused to jet onto the sample container 6 by a low-temperature gas jet device C that is a cooling device; consequently, the organic crystal 8 is cooled to −150° C. or below. As a result, it is possible to work the object of working in a fixed state, and to increase the working efficiency by means of the short-pulse laser light that is used.

    摘要: Provided is a modified polyphenylene ether resin which is a reaction product of 100 parts by weight of (A) a polyphenylene ether having a main chain structure of the following formula (1): (wherein R1 and R4 each independently represents hydrogen, a primary or secondary lower alkyl, a phenyl, an aminoalkyl or a hydrocarbonoxy, and R2 and R3 each independently represent, hydrogen, a primary or secondary lower alkyl or a phenyl), and 0.01 to 10.0 parts by weight of (B) a modifier selected from conjugated non-aromatic diene compounds, dienophilic compounds having one dienophile group and precursors of the diene or dienophilic compounds, wherein the number of rearrangement structures each represented by the following formula (2): (wherein R1, R2, R3, and R1 have the same meanings as defined above in the formula (1)) is less than 0.01 per 100 phenylene ether units of the formula (1). The resin has sufficient functionality and is well balanced between color tone/appearance and heat resistance/mechanical physical properties.

    摘要: A video signal transmission system wherein a television video signal is subjected to a waveform conversion in a video processing unit on a transmission side, then sent to a receiving side and restored in a restoring processing unit on the receiving side. The video processing unit comprises partly polarity inverts a composite video signal containing a horizontal synchronizing signal in accordance with a pseudo-random code utilizing a horizontal scanning frequency as a clock pulse such that the while level of an inverted video signal portion will not be smaller than a peak level of a non-inverted horizontal synchronizing signal portion. The restoring processing unit on the receiving side inverts again the polarity of the polarity inverted composite video signal portion in accordance with the pseudo-random code to obtain a restored composite video signal portion having the same polarity as the original composite video signal. A difference between the peak level of the horizontal synchronizing signal of the inverted and restored composite video signal portion and the peak level of the horizontal synchronizing signal of the non-inverted composite video signal portion is detected and feedback to the input of the restoring processing unit so as to control these peak levels to the same level.
