    摘要: A method is provided for the formation of high precision metal slugs by cold forming. A metal column starting material is subjected to a preforming step in which the starting material is cold forged with a pair of upper and lower metal dies provided with concave recesses to produce a primary product having a barrel shape having a high degree of parallelism on the ends. The resultant primary product is subjected to an upsetting step in which the barrel shape is crushed while maintaining parallelism to obtain a secondary product. The resultant secondary product is then subjected to an ironing step in which the outer diameter of the secondary product is reduced to obtain a high precision slug having an outer diameter which is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the desired final product for which the slug will be utilized.

    摘要: A method for connecting two members to be connected comprises following steps. At first, a circumferential groove is formed on the connecting surfaces of the members to be connected. Secondly, axial recesses are formed on the inner surface of the groove. Thirdly, a connecting member is placed between the members to be connected. The connecting member is made of a material which has a smaller resistance against deformation than the members to be connected has and which has a required mechanical strength. Lastly, the connecting member is pressed and plastically deformed, resulting in that the connecting member flows into the groove and the recesses.

In a preferred embodiment, after the support posts are covered with the yoke, a press force is applied to the bulged portion in the forging process to flow the material of the bulged portion into the locking groove so as to provide the firm combination.In the other preferred embodiment, after the yoke is covered on the support posts and is pressed in the deeply covering direction, a part of each support post is deformed by plastic flow to form a bulged portion in the locking groove of the yoke so as to combine the yoke with the support posts.

    摘要: An axial piston pump apparatus includes a rotary cylinder barrel with plural cylinder bores in each of which a slidable piston is arranged. Each piston is rotatably held at one end with a piston support synchronously rotatable with the cylinder barrel. The piston support rotates in a plane inclined to the cylinder barrel, while each piston reciprocally moves in the corresponding cylinder bore to perform suction/discharging of a fluid. Two of the pistons come into surface contact with the corresponding cylinder bores; and the end of these pistons are held respectively in the piston support for radial movement to serve as drive pins for transmitting torque between the cylinder barrel and the piston support. During operation of the pump apparatus, the one end of each drive piston radially moves in accordance with rotation of the piston support, thereby preventing the drive pistons from inclining to the corresponding cylinder bores and appropriately maintaining surface contact between them. Thus, the two of the pistons serve as drive pins. This obviates the necessity of any separate drive mechanism and hence enables the reduction in size of the pump. Moreover, the drive pistons are kept is surface contact with the cylinder bores without impinging thereon thereby reducing noise and vibration of the pump apparatus.

    摘要: An equal velocity universal joint is suitable for coupling shafts, driving and driven shafts, of mutual machines and for use in an axial piston pump motor device. One ends driving pins of the equal velocity universal joint rotate along a predetermined locus on a concentric circle while rotating and sliding by themselves in the cylinder bores of the driving or driven shaft. Spherical head portions of the other ends perform rotating motion in cylinder bores or ball receiving bores of the driving or driven shaft. Accordingly, the respective drving pins continue linear sliding motion in response to the rotation of the driving or driven shaft and thereby the spherical head portions of the other ends are held at the concentric circle on the driving or driven shaft so as to keep the driving center in floating state. As a result, the respective pistons are driven on a concentric circle, thereby an equal velocity universal joint is realized and the mechanical vibration thereof is substantially eliminated.

    摘要: An electromagnetic fuel injector suitable for use in an automotive engine has a cylindrical yoke constituting a body of the fuel injector, a solenoid coil and a stator core fixedly received in the cylindrical yoke, a movable core adapted to be attracted by the stator core, and a movable valve responsive to the movable core so as to be moved into and out of contact with a fuel injection valve seat in accordance with the balance of force between an electromagnetic force produced by the solenoid coil and a force produced by a spring received in the stator core. The stator core is coaxially received in the cylindrical yoke with a portion of the material of either one of the stator core and the yoke being plastically deformed into an annular groove formed in the opposing surface of the other of the stator core and the yoke. In consequence, the stator core and the yoke are coupled to and held on each other by the contracting force produced by the plastically deformed material in and around the annular groove. Also disclosed is a method of producing this fuel injector.

The wobble plate is supported on the rotational shaft for wobbling movement and rotatably holds one ends of the pistons. There are provided a pair of driving pins having one end portions secured to the cylinder block and extending in parallel with the rotational shaft, and the other ends slidably engaging the wobble plate through spherical bearings. The wobble plate, the driving pins and the spherical bearings constitute in cooperation a piston driving mechanism portion.
