    摘要: A supercooling degree control type expansion valve which is capable of preventing seizure of a compressor when the compressor is at a low load condition. A valve seat is integrally formed with a body, in a refrigerant passage through which refrigerant flows via a strainer, and a valve element arranged in a manner opposed to the valve seat and urged by a spring from the downstream side of the refrigerant passage so as to be seated onto the valve seat, whereby a differential pressure regulating valve is constructed. A spring-receiving member is fitted in a downstream end of the body, and the spring-receiving member is formed with a restriction passage. The valve element has an oil passage formed therethrough, and even when the differential pressure regulating valve is closed during low load operation of the compressor, it is possible to cause the refrigerant to flow at the minimum flow rate required via the oil passage. This makes it possible to return oil contained in the refrigerant to the compressor, whereby the seizure of the compressor can be prevented.

    摘要: To provide an expansion valve having a low-pressure passage that is bent at right angles therein, which is reduced in untoward noise and noise of the flow of refrigerant generated when the refrigerant passes through the low-pressure passage. In an intersecting portion of a low-pressure passage, the axis of a port for introducing refrigerant returned from an evaporator, and the axis of a port for guiding out refrigerant having passed through a body block to a compressor are orthogonal to each other. A hole is formed in the body block in a direction of insertion of a shaft that transmits a driving force from a power element to a valve element, and a holder for holding the shaft. When holes coaxial with the ports, respectively, are formed by drills having the same diameter as that of the hole, the holes are formed in a manner such that the tip of one drill does not extend beyond the hole formed by the other drill, to make inner walls on an outer peripheral side along which refrigerant flows at an increased speed, smoothly continuous, without forming any recess or edge portion having a boundary portion with an angle equal to or smaller than a right angle.

    摘要: To provide a control valve for variable displacement compressor employing ON/OFF control, which is capable of taking measures for occurrence of an abnormally high pressure. When a solenoid is OFF, a spring causes a movable core to move a stopper in a direction away from a stationary core and to thereby separate a shaft fixed to the stopper from a valve seat, resulting in opening the control valve. When the solenoid is ON, the movable core is attracted by the stationary core by a stroke longer than that of the shaft, and a spring causes the shaft to seat on the valve seat, resulting in closing the control valve. If a discharge pressure Pd increases to an abnormally high pressure, a differential pressure between the discharge pressure Pd and a pressure Pc in a crankcase pushes the shaft while compressing the spring, so that the discharge pressure Pd flows out to the crankcase. Therefore, the pressure Pc in the crankcase increases and the variable displacement compressor shifts to operate at a minimum discharge capacity, resulting in decreasing the abnormally high pressure.

    摘要: To provide an expansion device which controls high pressure-side pressure such that the pressure does not exceed a predetermined pressure in terms of absolute pressure, while operating in response to differential pressure between pressure at an inlet thereof and pressure at an outlet thereof. An expansion device comprises an orifice for expanding refrigerant, a valve element disposed on a downstream side of a valve hole and urged by a shape-memory alloy spring in a valve-opening direction, a shaft disposed to extend through the valve hole and having one end thereof rigidly fixed to the valve element, and a spring provided at the other end of the shaft, for receiving load generated by differential pressure between pressure of refrigerant at an inlet of the device and pressure of refrigerant at an outlet thereof, in a valve-opening direction. The shape-memory alloy spring senses the temperature of refrigerant on the downstream side to perform temperature-dependent correction of a set value of the differential pressure for opening the valve element. Therefore, pressure on an upstream side of the valve hole is controlled as if by absolute pressure. Further, when the pressure on the upstream side exceeds a predetermined pressure, the spring is bent to open the expansion valve, and hence the pressure is prevented from rising above the predetermined pressure.

    摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a solenoid valve-equipped expansion valve simplified in construction. A common valve element in which a valve element of an expansion valve and a valve element of a stop valve are integrally formed as a unitary member is disposed such that the common valve element can be axially movably guided by a shaft having the driving force of a power element transmitted thereto. A first core of a solenoid, holding the common valve element, is urged by a spring such that the common valve element is seated on a valve seat. When the solenoid is energized, the first core holding the common valve element is attracted by a second core rigidly fixed to the shaft such that the common valve element operates with the shaft in an interlocked fashion. As a result, when the solenoid is deenergized, the common valve element can function as a stop valve, whereas when the solenoid is energized, the common valve element can function as an expansion valve.
