摘要： An apparatus, method and system for device management of a mobile communication terminal are provided. Various errors which may occur in the mobile communication terminal are monitored by the mobile communication terminal and are corrected remotely. In the method, the mobile communication terminal receives DiagMon policies from a DM server and stores the DiagMon policies in real-time in which the DiagMon policies are constructed in response to various errors. The mobile communication terminal monitors then the status of the mobile communication terminal according to periods set in the DiagMon policies. When a trouble is detected to occur, the mobile communication terminal collects detailed information related to the occurred trouble and transmits the detailed information to the DM server. The mobile communication terminal receives DiagMon correction information capable of correcting the occurred trouble from the DM server and corrects the trouble, and therefore normalizes the terminal.

摘要： A method and system for remotely and wirelessly managing user settings of a mobile terminal for the functions and services by a device management server are provided. The method includes requesting a mobile terminal to transfer a configuration management object, which contains a node corresponding to a configuration parameter based on each setting condition changeable by the user in connection with various communication services and various functions provided by the mobile terminal, when the device management server has received a user-setting change request for the mobile terminal from an apparatus having management authority over the mobile terminal, receiving the configuration management object, to which a current user setting of the mobile terminal is applied, from the mobile terminal, and transmitting the received configuration management object to the apparatus having the management authority, and receiving a configuration parameter value determined by a user from the apparatus having the management authority, changing each node value of the configuration management object to the corresponding configuration parameter value, and transmitting the changed configuration management object to the mobile terminal, so that the mobile terminal changes and sets the configuration parameter according to each node value of the received configuration management object.

摘要： The present invention relates to a system and method for device management security, and more particularly to a system and method for device management security of a trap management object (Trap MO), which can prevent a non-authorized device management server from indirectly controlling device management of a mobile terminal through use of the Trap MO defined in Open Mobile Alliance Device Management (OMA DM). To this end, when a DM client receives a request to register a notification target MO as a recipient node registration from a DM server, the DM client determines if the DM server has authority for both addition and execution and allows only an authorized DM server to register a recipient node in the Trap MO, so that only a DM server having authority for execution of an MO can execute the MO and control the device management of a mobile terminal. Accordingly, it is possible to enhance device management security of the mobile terminal against non-authorized DM servers.

摘要： A method and apparatus for providing content in a broadcast system is provided. Upon receipt of a request for synchronization from a mobile terminal, a set-top box creates a recommended content list based on user information received from the mobile terminal and delivers the recommended content list to the mobile terminal. The set-top box receives from the mobile terminal a content list, selected from the recommended content list and included in a Personal Information Management System (PIMS) updated using the recommended content list. The set-top box determines whether a user of the mobile terminal intends to view content from the received content list at a start time of the content. Upon receipt of view acceptance information from the mobile terminal, the set-top box sends a request for the content to a service provider at the start time, receives the requested content from the service provider, and provides the received content to the mobile terminal.

The method includes creating an update command for terminals of a particular model, the update command including update information; and broadcasting the created update command. The update information includes software version information and at least one of terminal manufacturer information and terminal model information. Further, the method may further include, before broadcasting the created update command, forcibly requiring terminals subscribe to an update service; and creating and broadcasting an update file for terminals of the particular model from among the forcibly subscribed terminals. The software of the terminals may be firmware.
