    摘要： A projection position adjuster (8) of a projector includes a fixing plate (81), a first moving plate (82) that can move in a Y-axis direction and an X-axis direction orthogonal to each other in a plane orthogonal to a projection direction, a first adjusting driver (86) that moves the first moving plate (82) in the Y-axis direction, a second moving plate (83) that can move in the X-axis direction and moves the first moving plate (82) in the X-axis direction by engaging with the first moving plate (82), and a second adjusting driver (87) that moves the second moving plate (83) in the X-axis direction. The first moving plate (82) and the second moving plate (83) are superposed onto the fixing plate (81) in a projection direction. The first moving plate (82) is movably abutted on the fixing plate (81) and supports and fixes the projection lens (3).

    摘要： The invention provides a projector that can have a light source device, an optical device that modulates, in accordance with image information, beams emitted from the light source device to form an optical image, and an external case that accommodates the light source device and the optical device. The projector can enlarge and project the optical image formed by the optical device. The projector can include leg portions that are disposed so as to be extendable from and retractable to an outer peripheral surface of the external case to adjust the projection position of the enlarged and projected optical image, an intake opening formed in the surface of the external case disposed with the leg portions, and an intake fan that is disposed inside the external case near the intake opening and introduces cooling air from the outside of the external case. An intake surface of the intake fan can be disposed at an inclination with respect to the plane of the external case in which the intake opening is formed.

The device consists of an outer case which opposes a set-up surface and a projection angle adjusting mechanism for adjusting a projection angle by changing the angle of the outer case with regard to the set-up surface. Since the projection angle adjusting mechanism is independently mounted on an opposing surface of the lower case opposing the set-up surface, a space for accommodating the projection angle adjusting mechanism within the device can be omitted.
