摘要: There are: a communication sheet that propagates electromagnetic wave; a wireless communication part arranged close to the communication sheet, and stores predetermined information, and wirelessly transmits the predetermined information to the communication sheet; a shield part that shields a radio signal wirelessly transmitted from the wireless communication part; an operation part that enables or disables wireless communication between the communication sheet and the wireless communication part; and a discrimination part that discriminates contents of operation by the operation part based on the predetermined information wirelessly transmitted by the wireless communication part. According to an operation by said operation part to disable the wireless communication between said communication sheet and the wireless communication part, said shield part shields the radio signal from the wireless communication part.

摘要: There are provided a control device, a power-supply cord, and a charging cable to be connected to an automobile, wherein the control device includes an electric-leakage detection portion for detecting an electric leakage in the charging cable or the automobile, a connection detection portion for detecting the charging cable being connected to the automobile, and a power-supply interruption portion for controlling supply of electricity from the power-supply cord to the charging cable, and, further, the control device has a function of activating the electric-leakage detection portion in a predetermined case, in a state where the automobile charging apparatus is supplied with a commercial power supply.

摘要: A charging cable A for use in charging a battery of an electrically-driven vehicle includes a power plug 14 to be detachably connected to a receptacle outlet 12 of a commercially available power source, a charging coupler 16 to be detachably connected to the electrically-driven vehicle C, a temperature sensor 14a for detecting a temperature of an electric circuit between the power plug 14 and the charging coupler 16, and a charging device 20 having a controller 20a for controlling a current value that flows from the power plug 14 to the charging coupler 16. This configuration can minimize the charging time and enhance the durability between the charging cable and the receptacle outlet and between the charging cable and the charging coupler.

摘要: A frequency determining apparatus discriminates between two different frame frequencies in television signals. A binary counter (4) makes a 1/64 frequency division of a horizontal synchronizing signal outputted from a horizontal synchronizing signal producing circuit (2), and further makes a 1/2 frequency division of the frequency divided output therefrom. A NAND gate (5) is responsive to the 1/64 frequency divided output and the 1/2 frequency divided output from the binary counter to detect the normal frame signal at 60 Hz, thereby to set a D-type flip-flop (8). Another NAND gate (51) is responsive to the signal obtained by inverting the 1/64 frequency divided output from the binary counter (4) and the 1/2 frequency divided signal to detect the normal frame signal at 50 Hz, thereby to set another D-type flip-flop (81). An R-S flip-flop (13) is set by the respective outputs from these D-type flip-flops whereby a desired determined signal is outputted.

The mode change control unit discriminates the change of the operation mode in consideration of not only the receiving power level, but also the Ec/Io level, and does not change the Simultaneous-Mode from the Hybrid-Mode unless at least the Ec/Io level exceeds a threshold line.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a cellular phone to be used for emergency reports that performs GPS positioning by means of remote control from an emergency report center, and transmits positional information to the emergency report center. The emergency report cellular phone according to the present invention is constituted such that when an emergency report switch thereof is depressed, a call request is made to the emergency report center. The emergency report center transmits a response signal with the result that a call link is formed between the emergency report cellular phone and the emergency report center. Following completion of the telephone call, the emergency report center transmits a position recalculation command message, by means of a DTMF signal. The emergency report cellular phone, which has received this command message, performs GPS positioning and then converts latitudinal and longitudinal information to a DTMF signal before transmitting same to the emergency report center. As a result, even in a case where, in a time of emergency, a reporting party is unable to perform GPS positioning manually as a result of a poor physical condition, for example, since GPS positioning is possible by means of remote control, it is possible to rescue the reporting party in a rapid and reliable manner.

A 5-cylinder V-type internal combustion engine includes a breather apparatus, a crankshaft having three crankpins and a cylinder block formed with a front bank of three cylinders and a rear bank of two cylinders. Two crankpins disposed at both ends are connected with two connecting rods connected to pistons fitted to cylinder bores formed in the front and the rear banks. A crankpin disposed in the middle is connected only with a connecting rod connected to a piston fitted to a cylinder bore formed at a middle of the front bank and in the rear bank. A breather path of a breather apparatus is formed at a space portion between the two cylinder bores at a position opposed to the cylinder bore in the middle.
