Abstract: A method and apparatus for conditional supplementary link activation and transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device configures a primary transmission link and at least one supplementary transmission link. The primary transmission link is activated. The wireless device configures a first condition and a second condition. The wireless device determines that the first condition is met upon which the at least one supplementary transmission link is activated. The wireless device performs transmission by using at least one of activated transmission links based on whether the second condition is met.

Abstract: A method for performing data transmission by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises steps of receiving a message indicating a change of a Radio resource control (RRC) state from a RRC CONNECTED state to a RRC INACTIVE state, wherein the message includes information related to a configured grant (CG) and a threshold; if a time gap between a current time and an uplink grant occasion associated with the configured grant is larger than or equal to the threshold, triggering a random access (RA) procedure for the data transmission; and performing the data transmission based on the RA procedure in the RRC INACTIVE state, wherein, if the time gap is smaller than the threshold, the data transmission is performed based on the uplink grant occasion associated with the configured grant.

Abstract: Provided is a method for changing, by a user equipment (UE), packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) version. The method may include: receiving a security mode command message, which includes a first security algorithm configuration for a PDCP of a first system and a second security algorithm configuration for a PDCP of a second system, from a base station (BS); deriving a first security key for the PDCP of the first system, based on the first security algorithm configuration; when the security mode command message passes an integrity protection check based on the first security key, changing the PDCP version from the PDCP of the first system to the PDCP of the second system; deriving a second security key for the PDCP of the second system, based on the second security algorithm configuration; and transmitting a security mode complete message, based on the second security key, to the BS.
