    摘要: A baseband process is provided for operating on a receiver in a communication system, such as an 802.15.4 communication system in the 868/915 MHz band In one aspect, the baseband process is useful for decoding a baseband signal, and in another aspect is useful for determining a clear channel assessment. In decoding the baseband signal, the process digitizes the baseband signal into sample sets according to a symbol period. The sample sets may be, for example, from sequential symbols having a known symbol value, such as from the preamble portion of a data frame. Since the symbol values are already known, the process may determine a reference value by correlating two or more known sample sets. To decode a sample set having an unknown code symbol, the process determines a correlation value by correlating that unknown sample set to a sample set having a known code symbol, which is typically the adjacent and preceding sample set. If the correlation value is the same as the reference value, then the unknown sample has the same code symbol as the known code symbol. The process advances to the next symbol period and sample set to sequentially decode symbols in the data frame.

    摘要: A method for conducting a passive label query in a radio frequency identification system, wherein a query process conducted by a reader for a group of passive labels comprises a first query and a subsequent query. The link frequency used by a reverse link from the passive label to the reader in the subsequent query is smaller than that the link frequency used by the reverse link in the first query. The method improves the reverse link performance of a passive label radio frequency identification system, and increased the reading success rate of the passive label. A reader is also provided to implement the method.

    摘要: A reader and method for adjusting the transmission time of a continuous wave (CW), wherein the method comprises setting an initial value for a response waiting time, sending the CW to a tag after sending a command to the tag and waiting for a response from the tag, judging whether the response from the tag is received within the response waiting time. If the response from the tag is received within the response waiting time, then sending of the CW is stopped and the response waiting time is adjusted. If the response from the tag is still not received beyond the response waiting time, then sending of the CW is stopped. The time for the reader to wait for a response from the tag is far less than 20 ms. Consequently, a command failure can be found early, so as to improve the processing efficiency of an RFID system.

Further, a data verification apparatus may include a receiving module for receiving a write command including data to be written; a writing module for writing said data to be written into a first storage module configured for storing said data to be written; a reading module for reading data from said first storage module; and a verifying module for carrying out verification according to the data read out by said reading module. Such method and apparatus may reduce the time of data verification by an RFID tag.
