摘要: A reservoir assembly for retaining a fluid includes a body having a base and external side walls defining a cavity. A baffle has a top surface spanning the cavity and includes a peripheral wall substantially conforming to the external side walls and extending to the base. A lid is connected to the body. The cavity is divided into a first, second and third compartment by a cooperation between the top surface of the baffle, a plurality of walls of the baffle, the base of the body and the external side walls of the body. The first and second compartments are in fluid communication with each other through the third compartment. An inlet port and an outlet port for allowing fluid to enter and exit the cavity are fluidly connected to the body and are fluidly connected to each other by the first compartment to direct a flow of the fluid.

摘要: A method of surgically treating occlusive disease in an intraluminal tissue using both a retractor (6) and a retractable one-piece stent. The stent is constructed and arranged such that it can exist in at least a stable initial collapsed state (12) and a stable deployed expanded state (10). In conjunction with the retractor, the stent is positioned at an appropriate location within an occluded intraluminal tissue and converted from a stable initial collapsed state to a stable deployed expanded state, and is then converted to a collapsed state and removed before significant restenosis occurs.

摘要: A variable vane actuation system is disclosed herein. The variable vane actuation system includes a ring member disposed for pivoting movement about a centerline axis. The ring member is engaged with a plurality of vanes in a turbine engine such that the plurality of vanes pivot in response to the pivoting movement of the ring member. The variable vane actuation system also includes a ring moving device engaged with the ring member at first and second positions spaced from one another about the centerline axis. The ring moving device is operable to apply first and second forces, respectively, at the first and second positions to pivot the ring member.

摘要: In one general aspect, a computer-readable storage medium can store instructions that when executed cause a client device to perform a process. The instructions comprising instructions to define a plurality of event packets where each event packet from the plurality of event packets includes an input value from a user interface device associated with the client device, and instructions to define, at a first time, a first carrier packet including the plurality of event packets. The instructions can also include instructions to define an additional event packet representing an additional input value from the user interface device associated with the client device, and define, at a second time, a second carrier packet including the additional event packet and at least a portion of the plurality of event packets.

摘要: The present invention relates to a system for monitoring the health of mechanical and structure components of a machine. For example, the present invention is capable of monitoring the operational integrity of critical components of critical components of an aircraft such as the gearbox of a helicopter. The present invention is based on the principle of detecting a traceable substance when the substance is released from the component being monitored in the event of predetermined condition being satisfied, such as exceeding the operational temperature of the component, or a fault in the component occurring, such as a crack being formed.

摘要: A method of processing a call with reduced call set-up times using one or more telecommunication networks includes providing one or more preferences for a call associated with a first terminal and a second terminal. The one or more preferences are associated with an initial setup of one or more media channels for the call. The method also includes processing the one or more preferences as a preference message, processing the preference message by an FEA procedure to provide an FEA preference message, and transferring a first framing synchronization flag sequence, the FEA preference message, and a second framing synchronization flag sequence from the first terminal to the second terminal. The method further includes receiving one or more acknowledgement preference messages from the second terminal, completing the initial setup of the one or more media channels, and thereafter, exchanging information between the first and second terminals.

摘要: An intraluminal medical device having a flowpath therethrough, the device consisting of a one-piece elastic or semi-elastic sheet of material which defines a generally tubular body. The medical device has a collapsed and expanded diameter and is constructed and arranged such that it can exist in two stable states, consisting of the initial collapsed state (12) and the expanded state (10). In conjunction with a retractor device (6), the medical device may be converted between the two stable states within a body lumen as necessary.

摘要: An improved mold assembly for producing an article and for use with an air source is disclosed. The mold assembly is of the type including at least two mold portions configurable to form a mold having an interior mold cavity in the shape of said article, one or more of said mold portions each including an interior conduit for delivering air from said air source in use. The improvement comprises, for each of said one or more mold portions, a pair of mold parts each having an abutment surface, one of said abutment surfaces having defined therein a groove. The pair of mold parts is disposed in an operative configuration whereat they define at least in part said each mold portion, whereat the abutment surfaces lie flush against one another and whereat the groove defines at least part of the interior conduit in said each mold portion.
