摘要： The present invention provides a mobile luggage system having a frame with at least on mobility facilitating member and at least one container defining a primary compartment. The container has a plurality of walls configured to completely enclose the primary compartment in a first configuration. In a second configuration, the primary compartment is accessible through an access opening that is selectively openable. The container is configured for selectively securing onto and releasing from the frame without penetrating access by the frame into the primary compartment.

摘要： A device for retracting edges of an incision in a surface to form an opening including: a flexible, tubular skirt having an upper end, a lower end, and a channel therebetween; a ring connected to the lower end of the skirt for maintaining the lower end in an open configuration and defining an exit opening to the channel; and an inflatable collar connected to the skirt and surrounding the upper end. The ring is designed to fit through the incision and remain under the surface when it is oriented parallel to surface. The collar, when inflated, maintains the upper end in an open configuration and defines an entry opening to the channel. During use, the ring is inserted through the incision and the collar is inflated while remaining outside of the incision, thereby drawing the skirt against the edges of the incision and retracting the edges of the incision to form the opening. The retracting device can be included in a surgical access port, which further includes a flexible sleeve connected to at least one of the inflatable collar and the skirt, extending the channel from the exit opening of the skirt to an open end of the flexible sleeve distal to the skirt. The device can include a light source in the vicinity of the exit opening.

摘要： Pump assisted vacuum therapy impotence treatment apparatus may be provided in either electric or manually operated embodiments. The axis of a pump housing affixed to a vacuum chamber via an elastomeric coupler is at an angle to the vacuum chamber axis, and turned towards a user's torso to be drawn into the user's body for better vacuum sealing. The pump cylinder of a manual embodiment has an enlarged annular rest area for receiving a resilient skirt around the piston head during nonuse of the pump. This prevents compression set of the resilient skirt, for more reliable subsequent use of the pump. The vacuum chamber is tapered and transitions from a relatively smaller round end for receipt of a male sex organ to a relatively larger oval shaped end for bayonet mounting on the resilient coupler. A pair of sizing inserts adjusts the vacuum chamber end which receives the male sex organ. The smaller of the two inserts recesses into the larger insert, which improves the vacuum seal formed with the larger insert. The inserts help reduce scrotal tissue intake.
