摘要： A distance measuring apparatus measuring a distance to an object is disclosed. The apparatus includes a light projector projecting an irradiating light onto the object; a first receiver receiving and converting a reflected light into a received light signal; a second receiver adjacent to the light projecting unit, the second receiver receiving and converting the irradiating light into a reference signal, the second receiver being different from the first receiver; and a distance measuring unit measuring the distance based on a time. The distance measuring unit calculates an integrated waveform based on a reference waveform of the reference signal and a waveform of the received light signal, determines, based on the integrated waveform, a time from projection of the irradiating light onto the object by the light projecting unit until reception of the reflected light by the first receiver, and calculates the distance based on the determined time.

The light guiding member and the point light sources are positioned such that a distance between the protrusions provided to the light guiding member and irradiation surfaces of the point light sources is equal at two positions.

摘要： The present invention relates to a system wherein each of a reservation server that makes reservations of sales and purchases, a portable terminal owned by a user who makes a reservation, and a shop terminal provided in stores where goods are sold, and a service or entertainment is provided, is connected to a communication network whereby the user makes a reservation for sales or purchase by accessing the reservation server, the reservation server encrypts contents of the sales/purchase reservation and transmits the encrypted reservation information to the aforementioned portable terminal, the user presents the transmitted encrypted reservation information to the shop terminal, visiting the shop terminal, and the shop terminal accesses the reservation server to confirm whether the presented encrypted reservation information is legitimate or not and admits the presenter of the encrypted reservation information if the reservation information is legitimate.

The structure includes a transmission translucent portion and a receiving translucent portion. The transmission signal having a given wavelength range passes through the transmission translucent portion, and the reflection signal having a given wavelength range passes through the receiving translucent portion.

摘要： The optical scanning device scans an object with plural laser beams, and includes a light source, which emits plural parallel laser beams in a predetermined direction and which has a stem portion having a first notch; and a support having an opening, with which the light source is engaged so as to be rotatable on an axis parallel to the plural light beams, and a second notch located on a part of the opening so as to overlap with the first notch when the light source is engaged with the opening. By inserting a slotted screwdriver, etc., into the space formed by the two notches and rotating the screwdriver, the angle of the light source can be adjusted and thereby the pitches of the laser beams can be adjusted.
