摘要： A process for preparation of a polyurethane-polycarbodiimide foam which comprises reacting a polyol component containing a benzylic ether type phenol resin having hydroxymethyl groups with an organic polyisocyanate component in the presence of an organotin catalyst for urethane formation and a carbodiimidating catalyt. According to this process, it is unnecessary to use fluorine-containing halogenated hydrocarbons as a blowing agent, and blowing on the spot is possible using a spray blowing machine or the like.

摘要： A stampable sheet shaped-product has a skin layer consisting essentially of a foamable thermosetting resin and formed on and in one or both of surfaces of a sheet-like open cell plastic foam. Optionally, a facing material layer of a proper material may be formed on one or both of surfaces of the skin layer. Such stampable sheet shaped-product is produced by applying a composition consisting essentially of a foamable thermosetting resin onto one or both of surfaces of a sheet-like open cell plastic foam, so that the one or both surfaces is or are impregnated with the composition. Optionally, a proper facing material is placed on one or both of the surfaces, and the resulting material is subjected to a hot pressing. Alternatively, the stampable sheet shaped-product may be produced by a process including a thermal treatment step interposed between the above-described applying and hot-pressing steps.

摘要： A polyurethane resin obtained from a diol component and a diisocyanate component by an ordinary process, wherein the diisocyanate component comprises:at least one kind of unmodified diisocyanate, andat least one kind of carbodiimide-modified aromatic diisocyanate having, at one or both of the ortho positions of the two isocyanate groups, an aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic substituent of one or more carbon atoms, or at least one kind of carbodiimide-modified aliphatic diisocyanate wherein at least one of the two carbons each bonded with an isocyanate group is di- or tri-substituted, and the molar ratio of the unmodified diisocyanate and the carbodiimide-modified diisocyanate is 35-0.1:1. The polyurethane resin containing carbodiimide bonds in the molecular chain alleviates the problems of the prior art and exhibits hydrolysis resistance stably over a long period of time without losing the carbodiimide bonds out of the molecule.

The hydrophilic dicyclohexylmethanecarbodiimide is improved in reactivity and storage stability, and is thereby easy to handle as a crosslinking agent for hydrophilic resins.

摘要： An epoxy resin composition comprising(1) an epoxy resin,(2) a polymer obtained by reacting a polycarbodiimide with a compound having, in the molecule, at least one group reactive with carbodiimide group, between the carbodiimide group of said polycarbodiimide and the group reactive with carbodiimide group, of said compound, and(3) a curing agent for epoxy resin.The above epoxy resin composition alleviates the problems of the prior art; has a long pot life in a solution state, has an appropriate gelling time and accordingly good workability, is superior in film formability and handleability in B-stage, and has high heat resistance after curing; therefore, is suitably used in printed wiring board, prepreg, etc.
