    摘要: In an anti-lock automotive vehicle brake system comprising a vacuum brake power booster, a considerable reduction of manufacturing and assembling costs is obtained while the system's reliability in operation is simultaneously augmented by the incorporation into this brake system of a second movable wall arranged within the vacuum brake power booster to which a controllable pressure differential may be applied. The wall isolates two pneumatic working chambers and, in the case of slip control, is movable in a direction opposite to the actuating direction of the master brake cylinder by two compensating cylinders which are connected with the master brake cylinder pressure chambers. A hydraulic chamber which is normally in communication with an unpressurized pressure-fluid supply reservoir is sealed from the reservoir by a retention valve during slip control to hydraulically prevent brake petal induced pressure from being applied to the master cylinder.

    摘要: A brake system for automotive vehicles is disclosed comprising a vacuum brake force booster operatively located between a brake pedal and a master brake cylinder. The vacuum brake force booster includes at least two working chambers separated from one another by a membrane plate, one of the working chambers, through a master magnetic valve, being in communication with a vacuum source and the other working chamber being vented through a control valve acutable by the brake pedal to generate a brake force proportional to the brake pedal force. Connected to the master brake cylinder are brake circuits applying pressure to the wheel brake cylinders. Sensors associated with the wheels detect the rotational behavior of the wheels to identify a locking condition. Output signals are applied to a central electronic regulator supplying, in response to the signals, at least one switch-over signal to the master magnetic valve so that the working chamber in communication with the vacuum source may be connected to atmosphere rather than to the vacuum source. Provided in the vacuum brake force booster is an auxiliary membrane plate fixed to a guide sleeve, separating an additional working chamber in permanent communication with the vacuum source from the vented working chamber. Supported on the guide sleeve, through a spring package, is a piston rod receiving the brake pedal force, while the membrane plate, for generating the brake force, is disposed in a manner displaceable away from the guide sleeve.

    摘要: In a vacuum-operated brake power booster, a transverse member is provided which confines the axial movability of the control piston relative to the control housing. The transverse member abuts against a bead of a rubber-elastic material, the bead forming part of the slide-guide ring sealing the booster housing relative to the control housing. The tranverse member is formed of a substantially U-shaped sheet-metal blank, with both free ends of the fork arms extending parallel to two limbs of the member. The arms are provided with hook-shaped tabs which are bendable around a pin forming part of the control housing for the purpose of fixing the transverse member in its aperture in the control housing. In order to enable a proper and easy bending of the tabs during assembly, notches are provided at the radially outside small faces or edges of the two fork arms.

    摘要: A low-pressure brake booster for automotive vehicles comprises a low-pressure casing sealingly subdivided into a low-pressure chamber and a working chamber by means of an axially movable wall. The axially movable wall is connected to an axially movable control valve housing of a control valve via a transmitting sleeve having longitudinal slots. The inside diameter of the transmitting sleeve exceeds the outside diameter of a reinforcement tube interconnecting the transverse end walls of the low-pressure casing. Arranged at the end of the reinforcement tube adjacent the working chamber are radial extensions which extend through the longitudinal slots of the transmitting sleeve and are connected to the adjacent transverse end wall of the low-pressure casing.
