    Abstract: An optical system includes a fixed module, a movable module and a driving assembly. The movable module moves relative to the fixed module, and the movable module includes a lens unit which includes a first lens, a second lens, a first side wall and a second side wall. The first side wall has a first surface, which directly contacts the second lens, and the second side wall directly contacts the first lens. A portion of the driving assembly is directly disposed on the lens unit, configured to drive the lens unit to move along an optical axis of the first lens. The first side wall further has a second surface opposite to the first surface, and the second surface directly contacts the portion of the driving assembly. The thickness of the first side wall is different from the thickness of the second side wall.

    Abstract: An optical mechanism is provided, including a housing, a holder, a lens received in the holder, a driving assembly, and a base connected to the housing.     Abstract: A correction method for an optical mechanism having an optical member and a fixed portion is provided, including: an external apparatus measures the angle between the optical axis of the optical member and a reference surface of the fixed portion; the result of measuring the angle between the optical axis and the reference surface is compiled into data; the data is input into a control module; the control module transmits a signal to a driving module according to the data; and the driving module drives the optical member to rotate or move relative to the fixed portion upon receiving the signal. The optical mechanism does not include a sensor to detect the angle between the optical axis and the reference surface.

    Abstract: A camera device is provided, which includes an image sensor and an optical lens arranged corresponding to the image sensor. An axis is defined on the light incident surface of the image sensor. The edge of the optical lens includes a straight segment that is parallel to the axis. Since the non-effective area of the optical lens is decreased, the camera module has a smaller size.

    Abstract: A lens driving device includes a base and a frame movably connected to the base. A holder carries a lens and is movably disposed in the frame. A focus driving unit includes at least one first coil disposed on the holder and at least one first magnetic element disposed on the frame and corresponding to the first coil. Electromagnetic induction occurs between the first coil and the first magnetic element, so that the holder is moved along an optical axis of the lens with respect to the base. A tilt driving unit includes several first electromagnetic driving parts disposed on opposite sides of the holder and several second electromagnetic driving parts disposed on the frame and corresponding to the first electromagnetic driving parts. Electromagnetic induction occurs between the first and second electromagnetic driving parts, so that the holder is tilted with respect to the base.

The fixed portion further comprising a second end, wherein the first end and the second end are arranged along a first direction. A shortest distance between the optical sensing element and the first end is shorter than a shortest distance between the optical sensing element and the second end.
