    摘要: A recording apparatus for recording images in the form of a multiplicity of dots, including a print head having a linear array of dot-forming elements for forming dots along a straight line, a supporting device for supporting a recording medium in facing relation with the print head, a feeding device for feeding the recording medium and the print head relative to each other in a feeding direction which intersects the straight line of dots, and a control device for controlling the dot-forming elements to effect a primary recording operation for recording a plurality of primary lines according to respective sets of primary line data, such that the primary lines are equally spaced from each other in the feeding direction. The control device controls the dot-forming elements to also effect a secondary or supplemental recording operation for recording at least one secondary line between adjacent two lines of the plurality of primary lines, according to secondary line data. The secondary line data is prepared based on at least one of the two sets of primary line data which represent the adjacent two primary lines, respectively, such that the secondary lines improve a quality of the images recorded on the recording medium.

    摘要: Upon receiving a command for changing a target facsimile machine (Yes in S103), the present facsimile machine 1 receives the new forwarding number (S105-S108). The present facsimile machine 1 changes a forwarding number stored in the EEPROM 18 to the newly inputted forwarding number. Then, the present facsimile machine 1 starts receiving incoming image information from remote facsimile machines (S111) and stores them into the RAM 16. Upon receiving a command for transmission of a status list (Yes in S113), the present facsimile machine 1 produces a status list indicating the newly-stored forwarding number (S115). Then, the present facsimile machine 1 transmits the status list to a remote facsimile machine which has transmitted the status list transmission command. The user existing at that remote facsimile machine visually confirms the newly-stored forwarding number appearing on the status list, and transmits a transmission start command to the present facsimile machine 1. The magnetic layer 11 is bestowed with magnetic anisotropy in a direction orthogonal to the direction of energization of the element 1. With the provision of the conductive layer 12 of conductive material and also with magnetic anisotropy imparted to the magnetic layer 1, the element 1 may be made a low resistivity element. A reactance change and a resistance change of the element due to an external magnetic field change, thus can be effectively detected in drive frequencies two orders of magnitude lower than in the case of a prior art magnetic sensor element. The magnetic anisotropy of the magnetic layer 11 is controlled to prevent magnetic field detection dynamic range variations with drive frequency.

The apparatus comprises a magnetic sensor for measuring the amount of magnetostriction of the rotary magnetic material, a demagnetization coil which is opposed to the rotary magnetic material so as to restore the rotary magnetic material magnetized by a disturbing magnetic field to the state of zero magnetization, a demagnetization circuit for applying an oscillating current to the demagnetization coil so as to generate in the rotary magnetic material a periodic damping oscillating magnetic field having the maximum value larger than the coercive force of the rotary magnetic material; and a trigger circuit for outputting a drive timing signal for the demagnetization circuit. The transmitted torque is detected without being influenced by a disturbing magnetic field.

Each time a facsimile communication is made, the facsimile communication managing data is stored in a memory. A period of time defining a time interval at which the stored managing data are read out is set through a keyboard. An elapse of the period of time is detected and a detection signal is issued. If the detection signal is output during a non-busy state of the facsimile machine, the managing data are read out of the memory immediately after the occurrence of the detection signal and then printed in a printing station of the facsimile machine, whereas if the detection signal is output during a busy state of the facsimile machine, the managing data are read out after the facsimile machine is turned to the non-busy state and printed in the printing station thereof.
