    摘要: A wireless communication system includes a first device having a communications control circuit configured to initiate transmission of a wireless communication signal, and a second device including a communication interface circuit and a number of other circuits. The communication interface circuit may be responsive to the wireless communication signal to provide information carried by the wireless communication signal to at least one of the other circuits. Alternatively or additionally, the communication interface circuit may be responsive to the wireless communication signal to receive information specified by the wireless communication signal from at least one of the other circuits and to transmit another wireless communication signal carrying the retrieved information back to the first device. In either case, the communication interface circuit is unresponsive to control thereof by any of the number of other circuits. The communications control circuit controls all wireless communication between the first and second devices.

    摘要: An assembly, and an associated method, for an ad hoc network, such as an independent basic service set defined in an IEEE 802.11 protocol specification. A channel map is created and maintained at each mobile station of the ad hoc network. The channel map is populated with channel characteristic indicia of channel frequencies that might be available upon which to be used in the ad hoc network to effectuate communications between the mobile stations. Information related to the channel map created and maintained at each of the mobile stations is exchanged, and any of the mobile stations is selectable to form a DFS owner that defines the channel frequency to be used upon which to define a communication channel for communications in the network.

    摘要: A refrigerator airflow distribution assembly includes an airflow diverter in flow communication with freezer compartment air. The diverter includes a primary flow path and at least one diverter opening therethrough, and together with a cover forms a secondary flow path in flow communication with the first flow path through the diverter opening. Freezer compartment air is directed to the primary flow path, and a portion of the air in the primary flow path flows through the diverter openings and into the secondary flow path, and is introduced to the fresh food compartment through one or more vents in the cover. Metered airflow through the diverter reduces temperature gradients in the refrigerator, as well as provides a regulated temperature source for a storage drawer in the fresh food storage compartment.
