    摘要: A wheel assembly includes a wheel and a hub assembly. The hub assembly includes a retainer housing, retaining member, biasing element, and restraining element. The retainer housing includes a wheel mounting sleeve and pin sleeve. The wheel mounting sleeve includes an axle bore configured to receive an axle and configured to be inserted within a sleeve bore of the wheel. The pin sleeve includes a first end fluidly communicating with the sleeve bore, a second end, and a conduit therebetween. The retaining member, disposed within the conduit, is configured to operatively engage an axle groove and includes a lip wider than a first end shoulder to prevent the retaining member from exiting the first end. The biasing element, disposed within the conduit, is configured to bias the retaining member towards the axle bore. The restraining element is configured to prevent the retaining member from exiting the second end.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a system and method for percutaneous delivery of bone cement during a surgical procedure. The system of the present invention has a plunger assembly 100, comprising: a shaft having a first end, a middle section, and a second end, wherein the middle section is threaded; and a handle attached to the first end of the shaft. The system further comprises a dispenser hub assembly 200 around the shaft having a collar and a hand-grip attached to the collar, and a threaded portion formed on an interior surface of the collar. The system may further comprise a hollow tube 300 for containing the bone cement during the surgical procedure having a first end and a second end, the first end of the hollow tube adapted to be removably engaged with the threaded portion of the dispenser hub assembly. The shaft is axially displaceable through the hollow tube for controlled displacement of the bone cement through the second end of the hollow tube. The system of the present invention may be provided as a kit, which may further comprise: at least one tubing assembly, at least one cannula, and at least one stylet. The stylet may have a tip geometry selected from the group consisting of: a sharp pyramid tip, an angled tip, a blunt tip, and a corkscrew tip.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a system and method for percutaneous delivery of bone cement during a surgical procedure. The system of the present invention has a plunger assembly 100, comprising: a shaft having a first end, a middle section, and a second end, wherein the middle section is threaded; and a handle attached to the first end of the shaft.     摘要: A plastic wheel (22) and wheel mounting sleeve (27, 27a, 27b, 27c) used to releasably secure the wheel (22) onto an axle (23). The wheel mounting sleeve (27) preferably includes two resilient, radially displaceable, axially extending, cantilevered fingers (46, 47) which are cantilevered from and extend axially in opposite directions on the sleeve (27). An axle-engaging shoulder (42) is provided on a radially inwardly extending lug (55) on one finger (46), while a wheel-engaging shoulder (43) is provided on a radially outwardly extending lug (61) on the other resilient finger (47). The respective shoulders (42, 43) cooperate with oppositely facing shoulders (58, 62) so as to releasably latch the sleeve (27) to the axle (23) and the wheel (22) to the sleeve (27). Assembly can be accomplished without any tools and a screwdriver can be used to disassemble the components. Alternative sleeves (27a, 27b, 27c) include an annular rib (101) which mates with an annular bore recess (102) to further limit relative movement between the sleeve (27a, 27b, 27c) and the wheel (22).
