    Abstract: A pallet, a method of securing a load to a pallet, and a method of manufacturing therefor, in which the pallet includes a top plate defining a first surface area, abase structure defining a second surface area that is less than the first surface area, and support legs, at least a portion of which join the top plate and the base structure. The support legs are disposed between the top plate and the base structure in an arrangement that accommodates engagement of the pallet with a standard jacking device along any edge of the pallet. Securing slots extend through the top plate, wherein a first subset of the securing slots is oriented lengthwise parallel to a first edge of the top plate and a second subset of the securing slots is oriented lengthwise perpendicular to the first edge of the top plate. A pair of edges of the top plate extend beyond a pair of edges of the base structure that are parallel to the pair of edges of the top plate to further facilitate engagement of the pallet with a lifting mechanism.

    Abstract: In certain aspects, a roller assembly includes a base structure defining multiple recesses that extend inwardly from a top surface of the base structure, a first wheel, and a second wheel.     Abstract: A modular robotic apparatus includes one or more sensors configured to generate sensor signals representing a manufacturing environment in which the modular robotic apparatus is located. A machine learning module is communicably coupled to the one or more sensors and includes a computer processor. The computer processor generates, by a machine learning model trained based on one or more manufacturing parameters, a computer numerical control (CNC) configuration. The one or more manufacturing parameters define a manufacturing task to be performed by the modular robotic apparatus. The machine learning model adjusts the CNC configuration based on the sensor signals. A robotic machine tool is communicably coupled to the machine learning module and includes an end effector. The robotic machine tool is configured to operate the end effector in accordance with the adjusted CNC configuration.

    Abstract: In one aspect the invention features a weapon maintenance stand that includes a base plate, a support flange, and a wall structure. The support flange is spaced from the base plate and defines a first plurality holes extending through the support flange. A subset of the first plurality of holes are configured to match a pattern of bolt holes of a deck-mounted weapon system and at least one of the first plurality of holes is configured to receive an alignment structure of the deck-mounted weapon system. The wall structure is attached to the base plate at a first end and attached to the support flange at a second end. The wall structure defines at least one tunnel extending through the wall, with the at least one tunnel being sized to accept umbilical components of the deck-mounted weapons system.
