    摘要: A plasma display device which improves the adhesion rate of a thermal conductive medium. A chassis base is disposed substantially parallel to a plasma display panel. A thermally conductive medium is disposed between the plasma display panel and the chassis base and is closely adhered to both the plasma display panel and the chassis base. An adhesive pad is interposed between the plasma display panel and the chassis base along the edge of the thermally conductive medium and is adhered to both the plasma display panel and the chassis base.     摘要: A plasma display apparatus and a method of manufacturing a plasma display apparatus are provided. According to the invention, the accuracy of alignment of the plasma display apparatus is improved. A plasma display apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a plasma display panel for producing images and a chassis to which the plasma display panel is attached. The plasma display panel comprises at least one aligning mark and is attached to a first surface of the chassis. The chassis comprises at least one aligning hole corresponding in position to the position of the aligning mark on the plasma display panel. The chassis comprises aluminum and an anti-reflective material. The anti-reflective material is present in the chassis in an amount ranging from about 12 to about 26 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight aluminum.

Within the display area are discharge cells, and within the peripheral area are dummy cells that serve as a location where fluorescent paste is injected onto in an early stage of making the display, enabling the injection amount and injection speed from a nozzle to stabilize before the fluorescent material is deposited into the discharge cells. A surface area that the fluorescent material is deposited on in the peripheral area is increased to provide for a more rapid stabilization of the injection pressure and injection amount of the paste in the making of the display. A sufficient gap is present between a sealant and the dummy structure so that air and foreign matter can be expelled.

The heat radiating member may radiate heat out from the plasma display apparatus. The heat transferring member may transfer the heat from the heat absorbing member to the heat radiating member.

The case also is perforated by two sets of holes to allow hot air to escape and cool air to enter the display apparatus.

The display apparatus may be a plasma display apparatus including a chassis base, a plasma display panel (PDP) adjacent to a first side of the chassis base, and a driving circuit board attached on a second side of the chassis base, the second side being opposite to the first side where the PDP is attached. The plasma display apparatus also includes a driver integrated circuit (IC) electrically connected to electrodes of the PDP and the driving circuit board at a position therebetween, the driver IC selectively providing a voltage to the electrodes of the PDP in accordance with signals controlled by the driving circuit board. The plasma display apparatus also has a heat dissipation unit positioned at the edge of the PDP wherein the heat dissipation unit dissipates heat from the driver IC.

    摘要: A device having an improved heat dissipation includes: a panel assembly, a chassis base to support the panel assembly, a circuit substrate coupled to the chassis base, a flexible printed cable, respective ends of which are connected to electrode terminals of the panel assembly and a connector of the circuit substrate, the flexible printed cable transmitting electrical signals therebetween, and a heat radiator to dissipate heat generated by an IC and mounted on the chassis base on which the IC of the flexible printed cable is attached. The device can rapidly dissipate heat generated by an IC during operation since a heat radiator is disposed on one end of the chassis base corresponding to the IC of the flexible printed cable. Accordingly, an operating temperature of the IC can be maintained at an appropriate level, thereby improving the reliability of the IC.
