摘要： A microelectronic assembly may include a microelectronic element having a plurality of element contacts at a face thereof, and a compliant dielectric element having a Young's modulus of less than about two gigapascal (GPa) and substrate contacts at a first surface joined to the element contacts. The substrate contacts may be electrically connected with terminals at a second surface of the compliant dielectric element that opposes the first surface, through conductive vias in the compliant dielectric element. A rigid underfill may be between the face of the microelectronic element and the first surface of the compliant dielectric element. The terminals may be usable for bonding the microelectronic assembly to corresponding contacts of a component external to the microelectronic assembly.

The filter cartridges relating to the present invention which are used in removing metallic impurities contained in a chemical fluid for treating the surface of an electronic device substrate by treating the chemical fluid, is characterized by having a filter material incorporated therein, into which functional groups compatible with the existing morphology of the metallic impurities to be removed are incorporated in compliance with the constituents of the chemical fluid to be treated and the types of the metallic impurities to be removed.

摘要： A method for producing a composition containing soluble isoflavones is described, which uses soybean materials as raw materials. The composition is obtained in a natural state without addition of solubilizing agents and chemical modification, and has high solubility under neutral to acidic conditions and good long-term stability under refrigeration. By removing the insoluble materials from the water-extract liquid of a soybean material having a pH value of 2-7 and a temperature of 0-17° C., a composition containing isoflavones can be efficiently obtained with high solubility under neutral to acidic conditions and good stability under refrigeration.

摘要： A motor-driven radial plunger pump has an outer housing enclosing a motor section and a pump section drivingly connected thereto. The motor section has a motor housing cooperating with the outer housing to define a fluid passage having a fluid inlet adjacent to a part of the motor housing in which a brush unit is disposed. The fluid passage contains a filter element and has a recess disposed upstream thereof and adjacent to motor magnets so that magnetic particles contained in the fluid flow are magnetically adhered to and deposited on the bottom of the recess. The pump section has a rotor with radial plungers slidably disposed in cylinder bores in the rotor. The cylinder bores have radially inner end successively communicated with a suction passage communicated with the fluid passage between the outer and motor housings through feed holes formed in a coupling disc plate drivingly connecting the motor with the rotor. The feed holes each have a trailing side providing a face extending an angle of attack relative to the plane of the coupling disc plate whereby, when the disc plate is rotated with the rotor, the feed holes operate to positively feed the fluid into the suction passage.

摘要： An electronic timepiece includes a frequency supply for providing a relatively high frequency time base signal, a frequency converter responsive to the time base signal to provide a relatively low frequency time unit signal, timing signals, and a plurality of word pulses indicative of plurality of data words representing time data concerning the current time, and a set of additional data other than the time data. A primary register is arranged to store the time data and the additional data, and display means displays the time data and the additional data. An external control member is adapted to provide an input signal when actuated, and an indexing signal is generated in response to the input signal. A secondary register is arranged to store a plurality of sets of additional data and is operable to transfer each set of additional data to the primary register in a sequential manner as the first mentioned set of additional data in response to the indexing signal, whereupon each of the sets of additional data is sequentially displayed by the display means.

摘要： A modified protein composition which is produced by contacting a water-soluble protein, such as plant seed proteins, cow milk protein, animal meat proteins, fish meat proteins, egg proteins and microorganisms proteins, with a cysteine-enriched plastein in an amount of at least 1% by weight on the basis of the water-soluble protein in an aqueous medium, and if desired, heating the resultant under a mild condition (e.g. at a temperature of 40.degree. to 90.degree. C.), said cysteine-enriched plastein being produced by hydrolyzing a protein with an enzyme having an endopeptidase activity and subjecting the hydrolyzate to dehydration-condensation with a protease having an esterase activity in the presence of an activated cysteine (e.g. lower alkyl cysteinate, N-acetyl-L-cysteine or L-cysteinyl-L-cysteine).
