摘要: In a fuel cell system, a load control unit causes transistor elements to be operated at a timing of every predetermined elapsed periods, so that specific currents having α and 2α amperes are output. In a degradation detection unit, output voltages Va, Vb are obtained from the α and 2α amperes, an inclination R(=dv/dI) corresponding to output a resistance Rdmfc is acquired from a difference dv between the output voltages Va, Vb, and an open circuit voltage OCV is obtained from a voltage (Va+dv) obtained by adding the difference dv to the voltage Va. In a judgment unit, the inclination R(=dv/dI) and the voltage OCV are compared with threshold values, respectively, so that the a detection signal indication a degradation of a fuel cell power generation unit is output. Thus, it is possible to detect the cell degradation and to drive a load constantly and stably.

摘要: An atopic dermatitis inducer binding to a human own IgE antibody and activating mast cells and basophiles, which includes a purified human secretion fraction, or an antigenic molecule or an antigenic determinant in the purified fraction, and obtained through the following steps of: filtering a human secretion, removing insoluble matters and collecting the filtrate; mixing the filtrate with a ConA-affinity carrier and collecting the supernatant; and separating a component having a histamine-releasing activity from the supernatant by column chromatography. This inducer is effective in diagnosing and treating human atopic dermatitis.

摘要: In a vehicle exhaust system, downstream end portions of front and rear exhaust pipes Ef, Er which respectively connect to front and rear cylinder banks are arranged side by side with each other in the same direction so as to be connected to a common collecting exhaust pipe 22, so that exhaust gases flowing through the front and rear exhaust pipes Ef, Er are allowed to flow into the common collecting exhaust pipe 22 in the same direction. Mating faces 15f, 20f are respectively formed on the end portions of the front and rear exhaust pipes Ef, Er which are located closer to the collecting portion, and the mating faces 15f, 20f are confronted from each other. The mating faces are inclined relative to a plane (P-P) passing through centers Ca, Cb of the front and rear exhaust pipes Ef, Er.

摘要: The result of detection performed by a receiving electric-field level detection circuit 8 and the result of detection performed by an automatic gain setting circuit 9 are fed back to a timing signal generation circuit 10 which controls a pre-heat time of a selective calling/receiving device. As a result, the pre-heat time can be changed according to the state of propagation of radio waves, and hence the life of battery of the calling/receiving device can be increased.

摘要: A host monitor device 26 disposed in an emergency call center 12 displays, on an image display 82 thereof, an ID code identifying a subscriber 20, a symbol representing an emergency call from the subscriber 20, a symbol indicating that a portable transmitting device 22 is worn, or not worn, on the subscriber 20, and pulse-wave information including the respective times of day, and total number, of occurrences of arrhythmia, tachycardia, or bradycardia of the subscriber 20 detected in a prescribed time duration. An operator 84 can check the emergency call of the subscriber 20 against the pulse-wave information of the same 20 transmitted to the emergency call center 12 when a call button 34 is operated by the subscriber 20. Thus, the operator 84 can immediately judge whether an emergency action should be taken for the subscriber 20, in response to the emergency call of the same 20, without needing an additional checking operation such as a telephone call to the subscriber 20.
