摘要： A camera capable of operating in a red-eye prevention mode. The camera has an electronic flash device which is activated by a drive circuit in synchronization with the exposure. The electronic flash device also serve as a pre-light-emission device capable of performing pre-light-emission for the purpose of preventing red-eye effect. When the photographing condition is judged that red-eye effect is possible to occur, a controller activates the electronic flash device to effect a pre-light-emission for reducing the size of pupils of eyes of the photographing object, before the main flashing which is executed in synchronization with the exposure.

摘要： A system for inputting photography information into a camera, in which a chart having a pattern representing information to be input is provided as a photography object, and the pattern is read through a photographing lens by a plurality of light receiving elements provided in the camera and ordinarily used for automatic focusing or exposure control. The pattern information is decoded into digital data which is stored in a memory and which is used for exposure control and so on.

摘要： A focusing screen is inserted from a mirror box side and mounted below a pentaprism. A keeper member formed by bending a linear spring member into the shape of a frame is provided for the positioning of the focusing screen, an engaging pawl for engaging the intermediate portion of the keeper member is provided on a fixed portion near the opening of a lens mount, the opposite end portions of the keeper member opposed to the intermediate portion are rotatably supported on a fixed portion opposite to the lens mount, and the focusing screen is designed to be released from a focusing screen containing chamber along the keeper member when the keeper member is disengaged from the engaging pawl and rotated.
