Abstract:
A device for simultaneously carrying spectacles and contact lenses which includes a hollow open base for containing the spectacles, the base further containing a contact lens case secured to an interior surface thereof for containing a pair of contact lenses. A lid is hingedly connected to the base for covering the opening therein and may support a mirror affixed thereto to assist in installing or removing the contact lenses.
Abstract:
A combined eye glass, contact lens and contact lens accessories case comprising a foldable member which may be moved between open and closed positions and which has compartments formed therein to enable eye glasses to be stored therein as well as a contact lens case, a cleaning solution bottle and a wetting solution bottle. A mirror is also provided on the interior of the case.
Abstract:
A container is presented having multiple compartments to house multiple personal items, such as eyewear. The container has a cylindrical middle section and two hemispheric end sections. Each compartment is joined to an adjacent compartment via a shared hinge and separated from an adjacent compartment via a separating wall that is attached to the shared hinge. The container is low profile, ergonomic, and designed to minimize the volume of space needed for housing multiple eyewear.
Abstract:
A contact lens case having integrated lens data stowage compartments is provided. The contact lens case includes a left and a right bowl section in an upper portion of a case body for storing a pair of contact lenses, and two lens data stowage compartments in a lower portion of the case body. Each of the bowl section has a closed bottom and an open top detachably closed by a closure cap. Each lens data stowage compartment is positioned underneath one bowl section, and is assessable from a side or a lower base of the contact lens case. The height of the compartments is proportioned for receipt of a lens data sheet having thereon lens data corresponding to a contact lens located in the bowl section thereabove. The lens data stowed in each compartment can be viewed or accessed from the contact lens case.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a contact lens package containing a contact lens in a compressed state. In one exemplary embodiment, the overall internal depth of the package is less than the natural sagittal depth of the contact lens. Different single-use contact lens package shapes and configurations may be used. In some embodiments, a spring disc is included in the packages to help present the contact lens to the user when the package is opened. The contact lens packages may be adhered or clipped to a card or other carrier sheet, and may be housed in a number of different secondary packages.
Abstract:
Contact lens blister packages and methods of manufacturing packaged contact lenses are described. The present devices include a thermoplastic base member comprising a proximal end region having a grip portion, a distal end region, a first side region extending from the proximal end region to the distal end region, a second side region opposing the first side region, and a cavity configured to contain a packaging solution and a contact lens, the cavity being located between the proximal end region and the distal end region and between the first side region and the second side region; wherein the cavity comprises a bottom wall having a bottom wall perimeter and a sidewall extending upwardly from the bottom wall perimeter to an upper cavity edge defining a cavity perimeter; the cavity perimeter comprises a substantially linear portion and a non-linear portion opposing the substantially linear portion; and a plane formed at the intersection of the bottom wall perimeter with the sidewall slopes away from the substantially linear portion of the cavity perimeter.
